In the 1999 the bowling awards were taken by Chris Peck and Rob Pardon, these titles were taken from the successful bowlers of 1998 Gary Ellingham and Les Peck.

Alliance Averages

The main seam attack in the Saturday side are Chris Peck, Dave Payne, Gary Ellingham and Phil Cowley. The variation comes in the form of right-arm round the wicket off-spin from the experienced Alex Kirkbride. The bowling from Chris Peck, despite his slow start was often match-winning and often inspired the team.. Gary Ellingham failed to maintain his trophy-winning form of 1998 and Phil Cowley struggled with injury throughout the most of the season, therefore his bowling was limited this season. Alex Kirkbride bowled well on pitches offering turn.

Sunday Averages

With varied teams each week, the were less steady performances this season although Rob Pardon, Chris Andrews and Shaun Boyson were the regular  medium pacers in the team. There were regular appearances from Les Peck and David Payne. The lack of regular slow bowler limited the options for the captain, although Danny Golden, Geoff Sturgess and Graham Cardwell were all happy to slow the pace down.
