Place there now lies Solncevo's district many years ago was small village
Sukovo. By 17th century Sukovo
(Way to Solncevo from Peredelkino)
belonged to prince Trubeckoy. Village was built on swamp 
and
at the beginning had "27 houses, five km from Kaluga's tollgates, where
was 86 men and 104 women", -we read in "Pointers of settlings and inhabitants
of Moscow guberny", which was published in 1852 in Moscow. Princes Trubeckie
had this small village in 18 century, in 19 century destiny of Sukovo becomes
to depend on bulding of railway of Brynsk, there works majority of inhabitants
of village. From that time Sukovo become "big village". After "October's
revolution" village became biger and biger, many houses were built.Inhabitants
of village works on railway and went to Moscow for money.In 1926 Sukovo
had about 400 people.

In 1937 part of empty place near village was given for Moscow's workers
houses building, because of Moscow reconstruction. First house of this
workers city was built on street which was called "Pervaya zelenaya"("first
green". At the end of 1938 village had about 300 houses and 2500 people.
Was hot sunny august of 1938 and people decide to give name to new settlement.
Where was many names but people decide to give name - "Solncevo"(quite
sunny). This name was formed and registred in 26 of september, 1938.

From 1948 to 1953 village formed as dwelling array of mosow's builders.
In 1959, houses of water cleaning station workers were built. Whatswhy
on Moscow's map was appeared village with 7000 people. In aprilof 1969
Solncevo was getting status "village with town type". 23 february of 1971
village became a town of regional subserviences. In 1984 on
place there town Solncevo and workings village Zapaniy, ànd also dacha's
setlements Novoperedelkino, Lukino, Zdoroviy otdih, Lazenki and villages
Orlovo, Sukovo, Tereshkovo, Fedosino, Choboti was formed new district of
Moscow - Solncevskiy district with subservienced village Vnukovo. At the
begining of 1997 year district had 186000 people.

In 1991 mayor of Moscow dictation -"About determination of temporary borders
of municipal counties of Moscow city" Solncevskiy district became part
of Western administrative neighborhood and was divided into 3 municipal
region: Solncevo with 81400 people, Novoperedelkino - 88500 p. and Vnukovo
with 15900 people.
