Part ten
They
split up into groups. Witka naturally went with Raven, Catherine with Katya,
Nikki and Linzi and Rae took Dani and Billy. Catherine and Katya were to find
the vampires. Rae's group was going to rescue the sacrifice. Witka and Raven
were going to confront the Undertaker. Linzi and Nikki were to find out any
information they could. Rae led her group towards the cavernous hall in the
middle of the church. From their vantage point in the choir loft they could see
three figures tied and draped in black cloth.
"I
thought there was only one sacrifice?" whispered Dani.
"They
must have found two more along the way." Responded Rae. A huge red figure
loomed behind her. She bit off the scream that rose in her throat.
"My
friends." Rumbled Kane.
"Down
there." Pointed Billy. Kane nodded.
"Who
are they?" asked Rae.
"Sean
and Roaddogg. My friends." He added proudly.
"And
the third one?" said Rae. Kane shrugged. He didn't know. The group around
the three figures dispersed leaving only Bradshaw looking after them.
"No
time like the present." Said Rae.
"To
the rescue." Said Kane. His three companions looked at him in surprise.
They obediently closed their eyes while Billy changed. Kane moved surprisingly
swiftly and quietly for such a big man. Billy leapt at Bradshaw who stumbled
back in shock. Before he had time to cry out Kane grabbed him. He hid his
unconscious body in a nearby confessional. Dani and Rae untied the figures as
Billy changed back behind a pillar. To their surprise the unknown sacrifice was
Shane McMahon. As they were hurrying back to the safe room Billy stiffened.
