Part fourteen

Rae grabbed Witka's arm.

"There she is!" she gasped pointing. Linzi was suspended in an iron cage above the remaining members of the Ministry. She was curled up in the middle trying not to touch more metal than she could possibly help. Witka stepped forward her little band behind her. 'Taker slowly turned round from whatever rites he was performing.

"So you come to challenge me." He rumbled. Paul giggled insanely next to him.

"Release our friend." Commanded Witka. 'Taker laughed, then glared at the remaining members of his Ministry until they joined in.

"I can't," he said, "You've released my other sacrifices and I need a sacrifice."

"What for?" Asked Raven.

"I will gain unimaginable power of a magnitude never seen before in this world." Intoned 'Taker.

"An eyeball told you that!" exclaimed Rae laughing slightly. A slight clang made everybody look up. Billy was climbing down the chain that held Linzi's cage. 'Taker's eyes narrowed.

"Get him Brood." He commanded. The one member of the Brood that was standing behind him coughed.

"Erm I can't do it on my own 'Taker." He muttered apologetically. 'Taker glared up at the rafters and spied Edge and Christian. He laughed evilly. Edge and Christian stood poised for a second and then jumped down, straight towards Billy. Catherine bit her lip nervously. At the last minute they swerved Edge heading unerringly for 'Taker. Christian grabbed the cage and helped Billy rip off the padlock. They helped out the sobbing girl. 'Taker brushed off Edge and raised his hands, his face a mask of fury. He began to chant. Katya moved to the side of Witka and Rae as the witches began their own spell. Roaddogg and Sean looked at one another. They may not have known any magic but they could help in the one way they knew how. With Kane right behind them they dove at the Ministry. Sean caught Viscera in the face with both feet and then jumped on Gangrel. With a smile the Brood leader side-stepped enabling Sean to collide straight into Paul Bearer. Edge, Christian, Shane, Gangrel, Sean, Raven and Billy formed a rough circle around Viscera, Farrooq and Paul Bearer and proceeded to give them the beating of their lives. 'Taker was trying to raise a spell against the witches who'd been joined by Linzi. Mideon wailed. 'Taker threw his head back.

"Give me more power Master." He cried before realising something was wrong. He looked around.

"Master?" He whispered. The jar that had held the eyeball lay smashed on the ground. "Where are you Master?" Shouted 'Taker.

Kane covered his mouth and burped.

"Oh my God! He's eaten the bad guy." Said Shane.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Roared 'Taker, "I want pow...gribbit." Rae whirled round.
