Part four
Lissa
slept late the next morning. The kitchen was empty when she entered except for
Linzi and an unknown blonde girl.
"Did
you sleep well?" asked Linzi.
"Yes
thank you." Replied Lissa, looking curiously at the girl. 'Please don't let
her be Chris's girl' she thought.
"This
is Tina Argolia, a friend of mine," Introduced Linzi, "Known as Sissy
to her friends." The three girls chatted for a while before the huge dark
haired man entered the kitchen. Lissa recognised him from the night she had been
kidnapped. Sissy sat up straighter in her chair.
"Hello
Dionico," she said flashing a beaming smile at him.
"Good
morning Tina," he rumbled in reply, "How are you?"
"I'm
fine thank you. And you?" returned Sissy.
"All
the better for seeing you." He grinned before disappearing out of the
garden door. Sissy stared after him, a soppy smile on her face.
"In
case you hadn't guessed Dionico is the great love of Sissy's life." Said
Linzi sardonically.
"And
one day he will show he feels the same way." Added Sissy. Linzi shook her
head in mock desperation and all three of them burst into giggles.
