Pictures from the 3rd annual Huron City skater weekend August 7, 1999
What a weekend to remember. With 30 in the house Saturday night this was a bash that started at 6 on Friday evening and lasted till Sunday afternoon. Eleven of us Partied till 4 in the morning Friday night under a crystal clear sky with a beach fire and a cressent moon rising out of the lake. Saturday started out beautiful with lots of swimming and golfing until the skies opened up around 4pm. By then the rest of the guests were showing up and a house party was forming. Around midnight the rain stopped for good and Scott loaded up his Jeep with dry firewood from the wood shed to get the beach fire happening. Around 2am a bunch of us went skinny dipping where the girls got us guys good with the small flashlights they brought and turned on at just the right moment. The next morning a north blow came in off the lake which was bad for us beach bums but was great for our resident windsurfing pro Keith. Watching him launch his board of those impressive Lake Huron waves was amazing to watch. The day ended with hiking around the museums and more great food. My brother Charlie, Scott, some midget we found in the woods, no I'm sorry that is Brian, Jim, Janella, George, and Tom in the house.
