On Monday 6th September the Hollywood Actor Brad Pitt flew into Britain and visited Callowland Boxing Club for rehearsals on his newest film. The young actor is to portray the role of an Irish bare-knuckled fighter and should become a regular visitor to Callowland during filming. The provisionally named 'Diamonds', a big budgeted underworld thriller is based upon a tough Irish gipsy called One Punch Mickey. After hearing off Callowlands fine reputation for training individuals who wish to learn this noble art Brad contacted the club to gain lessons and a further insight into the world of boxing. During filming Brad will be a regular visitor to both Callowland Boxing Club and Jct 5.
