Screams and Yells filled the Coachs office as the complete 25 man roster, 4 coaches, and 3 condition managers piled inside for a team meeting. It was apparent the Boise Spuds organization is very upset the way GM/Manager Erik Elden is running the team. He has not made a single trade since joining the squad, and the teams slow decrease in the standings last year resulted from having the best record in CASBL to missing the playoffs completly. This sad display of management hasn't happened since Mike Kennan totally dismantled the St. Louis Blues Hockey team. Some people are comparing this to another incident in FPS with the Manager Jeremy Tietjens for the Chicago White Sox continuelly trading his players. Some of the players don't even unpack, as they are sent elsewhere within a 48 hour period.
So, what was done to fulfill the Boise Spuds needs? General Manager/Manager Erik Elden was fired Monday night, April 19, 1999. The new manager is yet to be named, but as they say, "Out with the Old, in with the New"
