YOUNG & RED HOT !!

Randy Johnson is one of the league's young phenoms.

Well, the Lumber Kings are proud to have the best Record in the league as they are at 28-9. They are happy also that they now have 3 Ammy picks in the 1st round which should make them alot younger. The Lumber Kings most surprising person this year would definately have to be the Rookie Randy Johnson. Randy's ERA this year is 1.38. Johnson is 7-1 for the Lumber Kings this year also. The Lumber Kings this year will be hurt by the new rule that you can't play anyone out of position, but they won't be hurt too bad. They won't have all of their best players in of course but they will have a good person at every position. They would like to get a better 3Bman but it is OK if they don't because they would have Speedster Dick McAuliffe playing there. The Lumber Kings are running really short on pitchers as they only have 8 pitchers in there active roster, and 4 of them are starting. That leaves ONE pitcher for each position, LR,MR,SU, and CLO. The Lumber Kings will only be able to play 4 of their 6 OF's, BUT they have all-star Bill Freehan sitting on the bench as a catcher, and he will be placed in at all-star break. Ted Williams would be the best hitter on the Lumber Kings probably as he has a .367 average with 9 HR's. Although the biggest surprise in the Lumber Kings batting order would definately have to be Vince DiMaggio who is batting .277 with 7 HR's in only 101 AB's and he also has 3 SB's!!

Well that is all for now from the Lumber Kings.
