Joins the Lumber Kings

     Well it didn't take long for the team with the last
pick in the Amateur Draft this season to get another BIG
NAME player added to their roster.

     The Wolfpac manager Chuck Ludwick came to terms with
Los Angelas Lumber Kings manager Erick Grady to acquire
one the games Greats.  1B Lou Gehrig is now a Padres !!!
And the cost ??

     The Wolfpac gave up prospect Sammy Sosa and 2B Dick
McAuliffe.  Sosa is hanging in the Low minors while he
develops his swing.  The stats are the other are excellent.
McAuliffe joins the Lumber Kings with a .294 avg.  He has
17 HRs and 28 RBIS on the season.  He has helped to create
60 runs.  Sosa is expected to be able to put up similar or
better numbers.

    For those 2 players they get Gehrig with his .325 Avg.
He has sent 16 from the yard and driven in 38.  Gehrig has
only created 46 runs.   Gehrig is 25.  McAuliffe is 28 and
Sosa (now promoted to AAA by the Lumber Kings) is 21.

    Only time will tell the results of this BLOCKBUSTER...
