FBPRO97 readies for College Draft

     The Draft Order for this season's College Pool hit the
page on Wednesday and the only question now is who will be
# 1.   Will it be some FPS Generated Name ?   Or will the
top players in College make an impression in this season's
Draft.  So far the top players be mentioned by teams to the
commissioner are QB Ryan Leaf and CB Charles Woodson.  This
is not to eliminate the others.  Last year's draft sported
top College names too -- yet it was FPS Generated QB Carlos
Bracken that went # 1.  Bracken did get a few starts for
the NL West Division champion Maine Maulers, but couldn't
get under the shadows of Gus Frerotte.

     This year a little more time was spent in making the
top players in the draft as being the Real Life college
players.  Last season was the first time we incorporated
real life players into the pool, so there was a little
learning curve.  "This year I worked a little more on making
sure that the real life players were the better of the bunch
so managers would be able to get pictures to go with those
articles"  said Commissioner Charles Wilkins IV.

     Only Oklahoma Bombers manager Jonathan Fried could tell
us who is going with the # 1 pick OR whether that pick will
be traded before the draft.  Remember that last season the
Maulers pulled off a BLOCKBUSTER trade to get that # 1 Pick
-- Will it happen again ??  Will Leaf or Woodson make the
Grade ??  All will be told when the College Draft kicks off
