Chas, here is an article enclosing my opinions on each team in the AL
East...I will send the other 5 divisions week after week....Please note
that these are strickly MY opinions and I mean no harm to anyone.

1.Baltimore:(10 of 10 ranking overall)
Baltimore has all the tools....lack a big name closer, but Roger McDowell
seems to handle the job well. On offense they are very scary, lacking only
a full time RF...Their starting pitching is one of the top 3 in the league.
With two players near 20 SB's, they lack no speed. Power hitting is fine,
with 3 over 10 HR....Team Batting average of .265 is good also.
What they should draft? A hitting RF, that is all they need.
What will they finish? AL East Title

2.Boston:(8 of 10 ranking overall)
Boston lacks a full-time 3B, and could upgrade on the catcher
position....Starting pitching is very good..Speed could factor in with the
run to the pennant. Power is decent... Team Batting average of .246 is
decent.
What should they draft? A hitting C, to learn from the aging Stanley.
What will they finish? AL Wild Card

3.New York:(7 of 10 ranking overall)
New York has the best overall player in the game(R.Sanders)....but he alone
cannot shore down the offense, but he doesn't have too...New York is armed
with a powerful---but aging offense....Team Batting average of .267 is
great. No Power worries...Lacks a 3B/2B which could hurt in the
stretch...Speed is average.
What should they draft? A 3B that can hit and field
What will they finish? Miss the playoffs this year

4.Detroit:(5 of 10 ranking overall)
Detroit lacks a 3B, SS, RF and a closer.......All the starting staff has a
.500 or below record on the season...McRae holds the speed for the
team...Power could use some help. Team Batting average of .234 could use a
little work.
What should they draft? A closer that will help immediately.
What will they finish? Miss Playoffs this year

5.Toronto(4 of 10 ranking overall)
Toronto needs pitching...that is what kills them each sim....no starters at
or above .500.
Speed is held by Stewart and Jordan....Power is decent....Team Batting
average of .248 is also decent..
What should they draft? A starter they can put at #1.
What will they finish? Miss Playoffs this year.

Again, I mean nothing against anyone....I am sure your analyist of my team
would be worse than I thought it would be.
