I went to give my weekly interview of Atlanta Braves GM Cory Urban, but he decided to give up the gabber and he handed me a black book. Inside I found the following scounting reports and trade rumors. I found them very interesting...and controversial.C Mike Hubbard: 24 year old, decent utility player in 3-4 years, not looking to move unless offered good. C Javy Lopez: 24 Year old, Has finally jumped from decency to superstar. His 8 HR so far this year is astonishing given the fact he only hit 25 last year as a whole. Prospect no longer, Javy would take alot to move. C Fernando Lunar: 17 Year old, prospect, with 2 24 year old catchers already in ACT, he will not get any playing time soon. On the block. 1B Hal Morris:30 year old, Just shipped over from Cincinnatti for mediocre reliever Francisco Cordova. Morris gets the nod at starting 3B, where Urban expects him to hit his career average of .300 Plus. Morris being traded is not being spoken of, and the way it looks, he won't be for awhile. 1B Scott Stahoviak:25 Year old, Utility player in his whole Braves career, the Braves are looking to move him. Decent Left handed hitter for those who lack. 1B Frank Thomas:26 Year old, Superstar, no trade possible. Team Leader, being best friends with Sosa helps him develop power further. Free Agent who will be protected at the end of the year. 1B Juan Thomas:25 year old, PH prospect who will never get a chance in Atlanta, any offers considered. 1B Brant Brown:23 Year old, Acquired to take on low salary, Brown will probably stay in AAA for awhile. Liek J.Thomas, can be traded. 2B Jose Vizcaino:27 year old, utility 2B, offers taken... 2B Eric Young:27 year old, Starter at 2B, has speed, contact, fielding. Will stay in Atlanta. 2B Ray Rice:23 year old, Rice gets the call at SS until Jose Hernandez comes back in 8 weeks. SS Jose Hernandez:25 year old, Hernandez is on the DL for now. SS Jason Maxwell:23 year old, sitting on Bench for now. On the block. SS Glenn Williams:17 year old, Quick and defensive, but ridin the pine for now. 3B Kevin Orie:22 year old, Lost the starting spot to Morris. 3B Kelly Aguilera:27 year old, sitting on LOW's for now, on the block, #9 in 1st round of ammy last year. LF Andruw Jones:18 year old, in ACT since age 16, starting LF, quick, needs work on bat control. LF Jack Bishcoff:23 year old, sitting in LOW until he retires the way it looks. CF Duane Singleton:20 year old, 2nd in NL SB's, Recently acquired form Detriot for Brain McRae, starting CF. CF Marc Lewis:19 year old, quick, AAA for now. CF Ernie Torres:23 year old, just called up to ACT for utility slot. CF Joe Trippy:21 year old, very fast, AAA for now. CF Doug Glanville:24 year old, quick, in LOW due to high salary.
