Updated '99 Player Salaries

          Mussina and Palmiero are in the prime of their careers and are not going to leave the city of Baltimore for ANY price. They are sure to lead this club from now to beyond the Year 2000 as FPS "Team to Beat".  Bobby Bo is not in trade discussions period...GM/Owner has been quoted as saying, "What do you think I am, stupid!!"  Thanks Ron.

          The Orioles look over there shoulder and see Boston still looming around only 8 games back.  One mistake by the O's and Boston is back in it.  If Boston goes awry, then they may even miss post-season altogether!!!  Will the O's be de-throned from the FPS as Champions or will they repeat?  Can Seattle finally pull the trigger in post-season?  These questions and more will be answered come end of season.  Because "Only Time Will Tell".  Frankly, The Baltimore Orioles are here to stay and will continue to be the "Team-to-Beat" as long as they can call themselves Champions.
