Clayton Blizzard Team Report

"That was the sloppiest game of football, I have ever seen!!! If that's all you guys have, you might as well leave your pads here in the locker room and go bag groceries at IGA!! If you're ready to start playing some football, be here on Monday."

"Yeah, coach(VanHeuklom) was pissed. i thought he was gonna pop a vein. But we deserved it, every aspect of that game was being dominated, and we can't play like that ever again," said DT bobby Hamilton.

The Clayton Blizzard have just come off their worst game ever, losing 60-8 to a 2-5 Denver team. Denver, coincidently, have both their wins against the 3-5 Blizzard.

Outside of the locker room at half time, a loud crash was heard. Investigators went in to see a locker ripped off the wall and thrown across the floor. Dexter Coakley, injured and all, had so much welled up anger and frustration because of his inability to play.

"I just can't believe the inconsistency in our team. I'm hoping that these guys come to practice this week ready to play. We need to get down to business," said Coakley.

Tiki Barber's future with the team is doubtful, unless he starts to produce some offense.

"I was brought in to provide a spark to the running game, and I haven't done any better than any previous HB's for Clayton. Me and the line need to work hard in practice and start to get some yards to take pressure of the passing game."

The Blizzard have a key bye week this week, and need to make some changes to improve. The defense has been good at times, but giving up sixty points is no way to prove yourself. Denver had 300+ yards rushing in the game, with Eddie George over 200 and Bennett over 100.

Clayton is looking to acquire a talented HB and some OL. Also, they are looking for some run stoppers on defense. Contact Clayton GM at Lucas Van Heuklom or on ICQ #2543755 to talk trades.

"We are a resilient team. We'll come back after this, we just have to forget about it and work hard in practice and get prepped for Buffalo in week 10. We can't forget about our playoff march yet, this team has some kick in them yet," said Steve Beuerlien, with little emotion.
