CLAYTON- The Blizzard are coming off a bad loss to Compton 19-6. The defense looked a little better, but the offense was bad this time. Now the blizzard have little or no chance to make the playoffs.
"We'll try and finish the season perfect, of course, who knows if it's possible, but we'll try until it's mathematically impossible to make postseason," said FB Gunther Conner.
The Blizzard are now 3-7, and have basically no chance at making the playoffs, but they won't give up yet.
"We owe it to the team to play hard against the Rangers next week, and we'd like to finish out strong to get a head of steam for next season," said WR Rob Moore.
Rob Moore, again, had over 100 yards recieving, and may be considered for the pro bowl, but that's probably the Blizzard's only chance to be represented unless some defender finishes strong.
"We just gotta finish strong, we knew it'd be tough this season, and we knew it might not happen this year. Maybe all this rebuilding will get us there next season, we'll just have to wait and see," said QB Steve Beuerlien.
