The Barons have had quite a turn around playing possibly the best football
in there teams history on the defensive side of the ball they have the
leauges sack leader Keith Traylor who has had 13 sacks already this
season.The Baron's also have Gilbert Brown on the line who has contributed
8 sacks.But the Linebacker core could be one of the best in the leauge with
Jason Gildon,Carlos Jenkins,Terry Wooden,and Todd Collins.The Secondary is
looking better then ever and with the loss of Chris Canty,Reggie Tounge,and
Tryrone Braxton this kind of seems a little odd but the Safteys Rafeal
Robinson and Dana Hall have played great defense along with getting alot of
tackles,then there's the future hall of fame cornerbacks Phillpi Sparks and
Ty Law,they have had great seasons Sparks has combined alot of tackles and
Law is playing the outstanding pass covrage he also has a INT this year.The
INT have not been rare this year for Great Bend as Jason Gildon,Ty
Law,Rafeal Robinson,Jimmy Hitchocock have all had INT's along with the 97
yard interception return of Larry Brown.As for the offense Rooke Scott
Frost has played great for a rookie only 2 int's so far and 5 td's.As for
the running game Greg Hill and Kevin Turner have had some limted carries
and have done good in that role as for starter Chris Warren he has just
been shipped as he had over 3 yards a carrie this year and 5 Td's and is
considered one of the best in FBpro all time they have gained HB Leshon
Johnson who is also one of the best HB's all time.At WR and TE the Baron's
have some of the best with Issaic Bruce,Lake Dawson,Yancey Thigpen,Tony
Gonzalez,Desmond Howard,and newly aquired James Jett...The Offensive line
has really improved the last couple of weeks for Great Bend and the Baron's
are 5-3 so far this year witch is a big improvement from last year
