The Cubs have been busy trying to slowly rebuild by trading,retirements,and fa claims are helping them lose age fast witch is a great thing...

The Cubs of course are not gonna lose guys like Mike Morgan,Jose Rijio,Bob Tewskberry,Chuck Finley,Mark McGwire,Lance Johnson,and Mike Stanley because of age but we are rebuilding are back up postions for them in the future when they do leave...

The Cubs have put a claim in for 3 young SS to go in lows of Free Agency....

We have also made a trade with Minnesota witch brings over some vets Todd Stottlmyre and Glenallen Hill but it also brings over C Paul Bako who is 25,P John Wasdin who is 24,and CF Rich Becker in Lows witch is 24 and an outstanding player...

So the Cubs are slowly rebuilding as we said and with LF Tony Phillips 37 retiring it helps alot and now the talent looks good with Mike Hubbard,Jorge Posada,Phil Nevin,Damion Easley,Lou Merloni,Wonderful Monds,Mark Kotsay,Rich Becker,Paul Bako,John Wasdin,Ricky Gutierrez,John Moore,Derek Bell,Ralph Milliard,Dave Mlicki,and Chad Bradford who are all under 28 and maybe more if I get my FA claims and make some close trades i've almost completed....

Look for the Cubs in the playoff race soon though those young guys are for the future but still with a better batting lineup then they maybe have ever had along with great vertran pitching with Tewskberry,Finley,Rijio,and Morgan there gonna dominate but it's all up to the 2 guys fighting for 5th starter P Chris Hammond and P Dave Mlicki...
