The Chicago Cubs last season finished out the season 2 games out from
Pittsburg.For most people thought with the record that the Cubs had a
pretty good season but really they weren't to happy with there
performance.The Cubs trying to re-build there team as they have traded
there teams offensive MVP Marty Cordova LF to Tronto for Brian Jordan in an
offseason deal.Jordan 28 years old says he's looking forward to play in
Chicago.The Cubs took a big risk that you have to take if you want to get
better and traded some star players CF Kenny Lofton,2B Chuck Knoblauch,LF
Tom Goodwin,Jim Mecir P,Brett Saghberhagen,Trevor Hoffman,and Marvin
Freeman.But the team has gained CF Stan Javier who has potential in
Chicago,3B Cal Ripken who is just Cal,Homer Busch young 2B(Speed Demon),2B
Ralph Milliard young 2B with good speed,Tigers,Twins,Yankees
2nd,Giants,Marlins Tigers and Yankees 3rd,Marlins 1st and Detroit's 1st.As
you can see I got alot of good picks in the deal I made.Hopefully with all
the good FA's in the pool this year my team can improve it's self.
