Chicago Cubs

The Cubs have had a pretty good Reputation in winning ball games by winning 90 games in all 3 seasons so far including two 100 win seasons.But the Cubs lost some key players over the off season.The Cubs are off to a 3-3 start and the team is batting over .300 witch is good.The Cubs are looking to beat pittsburg out this year unlike last season losing my division my 2 games.The Cubs can say there hitting is pretty good just check it out:

C:Chris Widger young catcher alot of talent.
1B:Andres Galaraga everybody would love to have a vet like this or should I
call him BIG CAT!
2B:Jason Bates:Bates has a suprising 4 homers this season
SS:Travis Fryman:Playing SS because of the loss of Cal Ripken.
3B:Jeromey Burnitz:Playing 3B because of Fryman playing SS and he is one
heck of a hitter.
LF:Tony Phillips:Over .500 so far quite a vet....
CF:Ellis Burks:Another good vet batting .400
RF:Orlando Merced:Awsome hitter has 5 doubles already.

What about the pitching the loss of Brett Saghberhagen,Trevor Hoffman,and Tom Glavine?

Here's what P Pedro Astocio has 2 wins in his two start this year and has a good era.The Cubs rotation looks like this Astocio,Chris Hammond,Rheal Cormier,Dave Mlicki,and Areial Preito.Not Great big namers but they can get the job done.What about the closer the loss of Hoffman?G.Lloyd is the Cubs closer this year so far he has 1 save and a perfect era.The player to watch for is P Mike Farmer 2nd year pitcher had a solid rookie year with a 9-10 record started half the season and had a 4.27 era.So far this season in mid releif has a 4.05 era he is getting better and better.....

The Cubs wish all the FPS teams luck and hope to see them in the playoffs.......
