Well, it seems that the Houston manager Erik Elden is again lurking in the bushes around my house. Guess it's time to call the police and put them on watch for this pervert. I've warned him many times not to come around cuz there are little kids around, but then again -- maybe that's why he's here.. hehe !!!
Anyway -- Rumors of the league selling out to sponsors has been totally overstated. The league is beyond having commericial interruptions during it's sims and see no future advertising as of yet (Unless a real check hits the mail -- hehe). "Pennzoil was over doing an oil change and trying to work on a sponsorship deal, but I was only in it for the free oil change ", was the comment Commissioner Charles Wilkins IV had to say about the visit. "They did mention that they were the new sponsor of the Astros and asked that I speak with the White Sox. They asked that the White Sox manager Jeremy Tietjens quit calling them begging them to sponsor." Pennzoil was quoted as saying -- "We only sponsor WINNERS -- why Jeremy would think we'd sponsor a team like his is beyond us !!"
