The Montreal Expos suffered a huge loss this week when All Star Pedro
Martinez went down with injury. He attempted to pitch through it but 
failed to register quality starts after starting the season with ten 
straight. Asked about his demotion to Montreal's AAA team in Neil's 
Harbour, "Hey, even injured I can still pitch better than anyone on the 
Brewers staff. I hope this thing heals fast, I have a CY Young award to 
win! "

  To compound things the fifth starter on the Expos Tavo Alvarez has 
incurred his second injury of the season.  "We are going to be stretched 
for the next few weeks, I just hope the Braves don't slip by us" said 
manager Stephen Budge. When asked about the recent FPS pole he stated 
"That pole was not at all scientific. Everyone knows the Brewers
are much worse that the A's...)"

  Expos are currently in search of a power hitting firstbaseman, but are 
close to the cap. Rumor has Bob Watson coming over from the Brewers for 
some picks and a salary dump.
