P-Jeff Brantley,3B-Tim Naehring,and now RF-Dwight Evans will be joining the
"Walking Wounded"list.Last seasons starting catcher,Cleo Prince,is hoping soon
to recover from his fractured neck and take over catching duties from the ailing
Matt Walbeck.
Cards owner stated on how well the team has recovered from the rash of injuries.Some much needed surprises have come out of the bullpen such as Melido Perez,Mike Moore&TJ Matthews.It also appears Greg Swindell may be a bonus.He also stated the hardest part of all these injuries is it makes trading hard.It seem every time an offer comes in,a player always seems to come up injured.Hopefully bodies will recover soon.
