David Beckham

BORN: 2nd May 1975

BIRTHPLACE: Leytonstone, Essex

HEIGHT: 6'0"

David Beckham is a London Lad who supported Manchester United as a young boy. You can say that his dream has come true.

He was part of the famous '1992 FA youth cup' winning side, from then on his career is improving constantly.

He has just been offered a brand new contract by Manchester United, he is an England international and he's engaged to Victoria Adams (POSH SPICE)......can't be bad eh!!

David Beckham's first team debut came in September 1992, when the RED DEVILS played Brighton in 2nd round, 1st leg of the league cup. But he had to wait another two years before he played his next game. Alex Ferguson kept David Beckham hungry for life in the first team, and it seems to have paid off.

His first ever goal for the first team, came on his European debut against Galatasaray. Scoring a great long range shot, something that the Old Trafford faithful have got used to seeing over the past few seasons. His first Premier league game was against Leeds in a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford.

His most famous goal, and I doubt he'll score a more talked about goal, came on the first game of the 96/97 season. He scored Manchester United's third goal with one of the last kicks of the game. The amazing thing about the goal was that he chipped the Wimbledon goalkeeper from the half way line (57ft)

His first ever England game was given to him by the new England boss, Glenn Hoddle. He played the game away to Moldava, and hasn't been dropped from the squad since. No doubt he's going to be one of the stars in the 1998 World Cup.

The World cup has finished and David Beckham only played one full game. He was a hero in that game...against Colombia. BUT it will be the sending off he received from the Danish referee what everyone will remember. It was an incident that probably cost England thier place in the next round...but instead Argentina went through and England OUT!.

Lets hope from now on that Beck's keeps his head cool and calm for every game, and play the football what he's good at...and leave the rash behaviour off the pitch.

I have one thing to say to David Beckham: Take your anger out on Posh Spice...she will enjoy and appreciate it more!!

Keep it up Beck's.
