zico born march 3, 1953. Zico, what can i say, i mean he is great. He was on the Best Brazilian World Cup team never to win it. I think his talents shined thru best in 1982, showed off his skills against Scotland with a blistering free kick, a great overhead kick against New Zealand, but he could also pass, and that was seen when he assisted Socrates against Italy in the semi-final, and in 1986 when he back healed it to Careca. He played for Flamengo, and helped inspire to the 1981 South American Club Cup, and then later to the demolition of Liverpool in the World Club final, in Japan. He fell in love with Japan and later went on to play for the Kashima Antlers, to promote the game as many great players do. These days Zico is working as a Coach for the Brazilian National team.
