Jim Cornette

    Before he managed JJ, Cornette helped JJ beat Barry Windham for the NWA North-American title. Then after he stood in JJ's corner, he added the Rock N' Roll Express along with Barry Windham to form an NWA faction in the WWF. While having Cornette as his manager, it seemed that the only person JJ fought was Justin Bradshaw, so this duo of JJ & Cornette didn't pan out. JJ never lost the NWA North American Title but he vacated it when he left Cornette's side.
