Owner / guide, Fred Kuzyk has been guiding and operating charter fishing operations on the West Coast for over 25 years. An avid fisherman, with the love for the Ocean since he was a young boy.
Born in Vancouver British Columbia, he grew up Salmon fishing with his family from Horseshoe Bay , Steelheading our local Rivers and Trout fishing the many lakes for trophy Rainbow Trout. |
His first boat was a 1976 - 21 ft. Cal glass, Salmon fishing every chance he could get and roaming the Coast until he found Secret Cove and has never left. Every day the breathtaking Islands with their majestic atmosphere and rugged snow capped Mountains and all the abundant marine life in their natural habitat - Killer Whales, Sea Lions.Harbour Seals, Dolphins, Osprey and Bald Eagles soaring above and he can't imagine being anywhere else.
Salmon are migratory by nature, and not necessarily in the same spot every day; as they are always moving they can be hard to find. A local guide takes the guesswork out of locating these fish no matter what time of the year you choose to come. These years of experience and Fred's wealth of knowledge about the Sunshine Coast only adds to your trip success.
Fred is a real outdoor type, not only liking fishing, he can't wait for the fall to take off to the hills hunting for Deer and Moose.
