| CKS Memorial Hall | |||||||||||||||||
| Behind me is the CKS Memorial Hall. This mammoth square with gardens and parade grounds was built in homage to Chiang Kai-shek. This is also the site of the National Concert Hall and National Theater, the premiere venue for symphonies, dance, stage dramas on Taiwan. | ||||||||||||||||
| National Palace Museum | |||||||||||||||||
| In the picture is my good buddy, Kuek CY and myself at the National Palace Museum. This famous museum in Taipei holds a vast collection of Chinese art and antiques -the most valuables in the world. | ||||||||||||||||
| Presidential Office Building | |||||||||||||||||
| Behind me is the President Office Building. It is a short walk from CKS Memorial. It faces a large plaza where rallies and protests are held and is the focal point of the National Day celebrations. | ||||||||||||||||
