D-Generation-X
The founders of DX, Shawn Michaels and Triple H, came together once again when they were scheduled in a tag team match against the Undertaker & Mankind (before they were in The Kliq together along with 1-2-3 kid, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash). Shawn hit Undertaker with a chair getting the victory. When the WWF was in England for a show, Shawn was in a match with the British Bulldog, Triple H and Chyna came out, Chyna distracted the referee and Triple H gave the Bulldog the pedigree. Shawn won the match also winning the European championship belt (with just little help from HHH and Chyna).
On the night of October 13, 1997 HBK, HHH, and Chyna declared that they from then on be known as D-Generation X. DX was born. The three never looked back. They just loved making fun of Vince McMahon, whenever they had a chance. Whenever they could they would make jokes at the other superstars and the matches; they would pick on just about anything. The three members feared nothing. The jokes were usually focused on one person, Sgt. Slaughter.
DX received their own paper view. HHH would be against Sgt. Slaughter, and Shawn would be against Ken Shamrock. HHH landed the pedigree and won the match. Also Shawn won the match against Shamrock. DX was now ruling the WWF. With the help from Chyna, no one would beat DX. DX always kept a comedic side though, like playing strip poker in the middle of the ring and also a nice barbecue (they were making fun of the Undertaker). At this time two "kids" grabbed the attention of Shawn & HHH. The tag team known as The New Age Outlaws helped HBK and HHH take out LOD. The New Age Outlaws consisted of Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. Shawn & HHH liked the Outlaws, but Billy and Road Dogg had a lot of things to learn.
Shawn took place in the first ever "hell in the cell" match against Undertaker. That night Kane made his WWF debut. The boxer Mike Tyson showed up at the Royal Rumble. It was soon going to be announced that Tyson would be the guest enforcer at Wrestle Mania IIV. Soon after that Tyson would join DX only for a little while.
On March 30, 1998, HHH and Chyna started the DX army. Shawn was out for a while for a bad back injury. So HHH and Chyna needed another person to be in DX. That person was going to be X-PAC (formally known as the 1-2-3 kid). He returned to the WWF (after WCW fired him) and joined DX. X-PAC announced that DX was going to rage through the WWF and that it starts tonight. Later that night, Road Dogg Jesse James & Badd Ass Billy Gunn of The New Age Outlaws were in a cage match against Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charley. DX came out and helped the Outlaws win back the Tag Team Titles. The New Age Outlaws then joined DX. A new DX was born. DX was now stronger than it ever was. Though they never forgot how to have fun. Those games skyrocketed when DX declared war on the rest of the world and stormed the CNN building, also when they were in New York City they went out of the arena and walked around the city. Another war, against the Nation of Domination also skyrocketed when DX dressed up like them and also criticized them on RAW. Do you smell what the Crock is cookin??
X-PAC would go at it against D'Lo Brown. Of course X-PAC had The Ninth Wonder Of The World, Chyna. The Outlaws had to defend the Tag Team Titles, but once again Chyna was there. Everyone knew that wherever Triple H went Chyna was too. DX was tight.
The war against the Nation lead to a Ladder Match between HHH & The Rock for the Intercontinental Championship at Summer Slam '98. HHH and The Rock put on one hell of a battle. Triple H got flour thrown in his face and his knee was hurtin' but he won anyway. But a while later HHH had to give up the belt because he damaged his knee, he was out for a while but came back and his knee was just about 100% ready to wrestle again. After HHH won the IC belt X-PAC won the European championship belt. DX thought they were whole. But during an "I Quit" match (on Monday night RAW) between HHH & The Rock (for the World Wrestling Championship) Chyna gave a low blow to HHH, betraying DX. Chyna said she had one word "Corporate." Chyna joined the Corporation for a while. At Wrestle Mania Federation XV, HHH was in a match against Kane. Chyna came out and hit Kane with a chair. HHH & Chyna were together again, and DX seemed to be a full house once again.
During the European Title Match between Shane McMahon & X-PAC, HHH pedigreed X-PAC. HHH and Chyna betrayed DX, and they joined the Corporation. Later on Badd Ass Billy Gunn became Mr. Ass, when he betrayed X-PAC and broke up one of the best tag teams in the WWF, The New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg & X-PAC carried on as DX (for less then a year). After a while Mr. Ass & Chyna made a new alliance saying that they officially own DX and that X-PAC and Road Dogg didn't. X-PAC made an alliance with Kane. They would go onto win the Tag Team Titles twice (not as good as The New Age Outlaws who won them 8 times, so far).
At the 1999 King Of The Ring Chyna took on Road Dogg. Road Dogg won 'cause Chyna went to give Road Dogg a low blow but when she went to do it she hurt her arm because Road Dogg had a protective metal cup on, he gave Chyna the Pump Handle Slam and won. After Road Dogg beat Chyna, Road Dogg had to face X-PAC for the semi-finals. Even though they were best friends they wrestled each other. X-PAC won but there were no hard feelings after the match. X-PAC faced Mr. Ass in the finals. Mr. Ass defeated X-PAC and became the 1999 King of the Ring.
At Fully Loaded, it was DX vs. DX. Mr. Ass & Chyna against X-PAC & Road Dogg for the rights to DX. X-PAC & Road Dogg won the victory. After being denied the WWF Championship at Summer Slam, HHH won the Title the next night on RAW against Mankind. HBK showed up on the debut of Smackdown. He ordered HHH to defend the WWF Championship against The Rock and made himself the guest referee. HBK laid some Sweet Chin Music on The Rock and helped HHH keep the Championship. The three original members of DX are together again.
Five weeks later on SMACKDOWN! The New Age Outlaws reunited with a good hug and a match against The Rock & Sock Connection for the Tag Team Titles. The Outlaws won the Tag Team Championship for a fourth time. At No Mercy, The Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna became the first Women to win The Intercontinental Championship; she won it from Jeff Jarret.
On RAW The Outlaws were in a tag team match against Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock. HHH tried to interfere but was driven away by Stone Cold. X-PAC jumped into the ring and did a spinning heel kick on The Rock. Mr. Ass covered The Rock to get the win. X-PAC, HHH, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn started stomping away on The Rock & Stone Cold. After pounding away, HHH, X-PAC, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn climbed the turnbuckles with DX jerseys while the DX music hit. DX was back! This reunion brought with it a new attitude for the WWF. DX showed up on Smackdown and said they were taking over. X-PAC turned on Kane. The rest of DX started stomping away. After setting several traps for DX, Stone Cold finally got all four of them with a net. No matter what, DX will always come back!
