How acquired: Traded by Chicago to Buffalo on August 7, 1992 for Stephane Beauregard and Buffalo's fourth round choice (Eric Daze) in the 1993 Entry Draft. 1995-96: Led the NHL in save percentage for the third straight year (those three figures rank as the top three for best save percentage by a Buffalo goalie in one season)... Won the Memorial Trophy (team MVP as voted by his teammates) and the Star of Stars Trophy for the third straight year... Played the entire third period, stopped 12 of 13 shots, and posted the win in being the lone Buffalo representative on the Eastern Conference team at the All-Star Game on Jan. 20 in Boston (his first All-Star Game appearance)... Only Roger Crozier (2,190 in 1971-72) faced more shots in one Buffalo season than Hasek in '95- '96 (2,011)... Passed Jacques Cloutier for sixth place on Buffalo's all-time goalie games leaders list (Dom now has 186) and has passed him for sole possession of sixth on the goalie minutes list. His win February 7 vs. Boston put him alone in fifth place on the team's all-time list of career goaltending wins leaders... Moved into a tie for the all-time list of career goaltending wins leaders... Moved into a tie for the all-time lead on Buffalo's career shutout leaders list with Don Edwards... Following the 1993-94 season, he won: The Hockey News/Upper Deck Goaltender of the Year, The Sporting News Second Team All-Star, goaltender on the All-Beckett Hockey Team and was named that publication's Player of the Year, and the Reeds Jewelers Most Popular Player Award... Chicago's 11th choice (199th overall) in the 1983 Entry Draft... His first NHL victory came at Buffalo (5-3) on March 8, 1991... Was the starting goaltender for Team Czechoslovakia during the 1991 Canada Cup Tournament... Named to the Upper Deck/NHL All Rookie Team following the 1991-92 season...
