Kunuk's Nakiska of Talocon,
(1/29/88-8/27/02), co owned by Gail O'Connell and myself crossed over the
Rainbow Bridge 8/27/02.. Nakiska had ten points towards her championship but had
hard luck getting majors, such as majors breaking, needing to go best of
winners, etc. but she was a champion just the same. A couple of memorable
highlights in her life, and mine, were the time she ate and swallowed four
hundred dollars which I managed to retrieve and the Federal Reserve honored
"it" and the time she and my husband went walking one morning and the
minute they came through the door I knew that they had met up with a skunk.
Now go run with the other dogs in the field of flowers, Nakiska.
