A Response...

From a fellow animal lover and friend..
One of the things you are dancing around is the nature of interspecies
communication. it need NOT be of the ESP type to baffle most of our
perceptions. for example, while we readily understand being startled by a
sudden noise, or something appearing unexpectedly, few would think of a spook
from a sudden sharp smell - because human perceptions in that dimension are
so weak, so monchromatic.

Some animals will arrange their environment - dog or cat moving dishes or
toys around etc - why ? what is the message ?
Animals that go in groups read body language superbly, IMO. Dogs often can
tell when it is time for fun, or will even signal time to play; so obvious
and bright, even we two legged creatures usually understand. And there are
many ways this is communicated. Do not underestimate tone of voice, as just
one example.

Grow quiet within, and listen to those around you, even if furry and four
legged. Their wisdom may be different than ours, but that does not make it
any the less valued or less wise.
