I held you in the palm of my hand at just 3 weeks of age, bottle
feeding you and your
two brothers. I used to call you "My Boys" or "BOYSenberries."
You were the ring leader
and so I nicknamed you "Boss-Man." We shared 15 wonderful
years Boston, only enhanced
by Pam entering our lives and your finding a special kindred bond with
her. You made sure
she understood that when you herded her to the kitchen it meant,
"Kibble, please ... now!"
She spoiled and pampered you as much as me, loving you so completely
and often times
whispering, "He's my favorite." She didn't want to offend
your brothers, who she also loved
dearly, but you were her special boy, and mine. You always loved
water, finding a fascination
with it when you were 2 months-old and had your first bath. In the
summer when I would put
ice cubes in Nicky's water dish, I would find you in the sink and in
the dish, batting the ice
cubes around! Boston, you gave a terrific fight the last week of your
life. Please know how
much we love you and miss your physical presense here with us. You are
and will always
be our little Boofer and special boy. We both believe in Rainbow
Bridge and know that one
day we'll be reunited. Until then, I pray that you are basking in the
warm sun, feeling our
continuous love and knowing how much you are deeply missed. We love
you Boss ...
