Caesar

January 1994 - November 2003

On November 7, 2003, my loyal best friend for  almost 10 years was
tragically taken away from me without warning.  There are no words or
actions that can relay how much I love and cared for Caesar.  He will
always be  missed and I look forward to the day we meet at the Rainbow
Bridge.

Caesar was always there for me in good and bad times.  He had made several
moves with me and never once complained.  He is always happy.  The only
time he ever looked sad is when I had to leave him be it for work or a five
minute trek to the store....I hope you know my friend the feeling was
mutual. Upon my return it was always happy and joyous for both.  One of my
goals was to find the PERFECT job where Caesar could always be with me.
Unfortunately that day will not come on this Earth.  I always felt a warmth
and a secure feeling when he is in my presence.  Now all I have is the love
in my heart and a soul full of memories.  I know my friend is here with me
spiritually but it is not the same with out his kiss, his bark, his
beautiful smile, wagging tail and the warmth of his fur.

It has only been two days but I can never imagine this void in my heart
being filled.  I take comfort in all of the condolences and how obvious it
was to outsiders how much we loved one another.  I hope those of you who
read this have half the special bond that I had with my pal, my friend, my
family member.

Caesar was and always will be the greatest $50 I ever spent . You could not
put a price tag on what this dog has meant to me.  I would pay any price
just to have another day with him.  One more walk, one more fetch, even one
more clean-up of a mess would be the most cherished gift. I know that
Caesar is with my Mom who died suddenly in March.  I hope the two of them
are looking down and know how my heart aches.

The world is a lonelier place without my friend....but Rainbow Bridge has
just welcomed one great dog that will definitely fit in!!!
Until we meet again....I love You...... I miss you......God Always Bless
You Caesar Ries
