Companion to Ann Marie Khinoo.  Kodi was raised by Ann Marie from a 
kitten of six weeks old.  Kodi moved with Ann Marie from Hayward, CA. to
Alburquerqe, NM. to Dumfries, VA. to Stafford, VA and finally to
Spotsylvania, VA.  Kodi loved to explore the new houses and especially liked
to have access to the outside in fair weather.  She'd venture onto the decks
or sit in the sill of an open screened window.  At a maximum, Kodi only
weighed about 7+1/2 lbs.  She was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure at
16 years and 8 months of age.  Sending her across the Rainbow Bridge was
difficult for Ann Marie.  Her love for Kodi and her lack of selfishness
allowed her to let Kodi go to the bridge and be free of the pain.  It was
perhaps the most difficult decision that Ann Marie's ever been forced to
make.  We'll all miss Kodi; all of us: the Golden Retrievers, Rusty, Penny,
Jubal and J.E.B., and the Maine Coon Cats, Alexander and Boru.  But Ann
Marie will miss her the most and feel her loss the greatest.  She loved Kodi
as much as a mother loves her child.
