A lady you certainly were!  You brought such joy to us and every time I
look at your picture I can only smile.
We had 15 wonderful years with you, watching you grow from a puppy into a
hunting companion for Dad, and a loving, fun spirited friend for Dara and
Mom......and later, Lexi your rottweiler sister., who has now joined you.

Oh how you loved to swim in the pond out back, and hunt everything your
nose got a scent of.  We were devastated  the day you departed, and  the
vet gave us The Rainbow Bridge Story,  We read it on the way home as we all
cried.

We don't cry anymore, because the most amazing thing happened the very next
day.  Dad was sitting in the living room looking out over the front lawn
when he called me from the kitchen.  When I looked out the front window, in
the middle of a very bright sunny day with not a cloud in the sky.....a
beautiful rainbow had suddenly appeared over the driveway just where the
trees begin to hide it.   As we stared in amazement at the rainbow, we knew
it was your message to us that you were O.K.  Just as quickly as it had
appeared, the rainbow slowly dissipated as we watched, and we believed and
knew you had crossed The Rainbow Bridge.
