Zeldy left us today. I cannot
believe she is gone from our home where
she filled our hearts for over 13 years. She purred until there
was no
more breath. We looked each other deep in the eyes until she
oculd no
longer see. I believe I saw her in the bright full moon tonight.
Zeldy chose me as her mommy and commenced to become entwined in my
heart. She is forever my "love-love". She was
the complete embodiment
of pure love.
Zeldy was pure white with bright yellow eyes. Plumerias are
white with
yellow centers. Here first name is a tribute to her departed
sisters,
Zoe and Cindy. She was the best of both of them with the
addition of
all that was truly her. Her sister Freddy, who died two years
ago was
both her friend and nemesis. She has missed her the past two
years.
All the moments with Zeldy flood my head and heart. The pain of
having
her die today is the searing memory of the moment but I know it will
yiels to all that she given. My last words to her were to find
Freddy
across the Rainbow Bridge. Freddy will take her to Zoe and
Cindy. I
will find all of them in the sky each night when I look up.
I love my little girl. I feel her in my arms and heart.
All these
words fall short in so many ways but they are all I have to honor her.
Kathy Krammer, Zeldy's mommy
