History of Battleships:

The first historic battleship in the Navy was the Bonhomme Richard, her captain was John Paul James, And she outfought the British ship Serapis in the revolutionary war.

The second historic battleship that was in the Navy was called The Constitution, her captain was Isaac Hull, she destroyed the British frigate Guerriere in the war of 1812.

The third historic battleship was the Olympia, her captain was George Dewey, she helped rout the Spanish fleet in the battle bay in 1898.

 

The forth historic ship was the transports that carried more than 2 million American troops to fight in France during World War 1.

The fifth historic ship was the Enterprise it was the first carrier, it was the backbone of the U.S. Navy during World War 2.

The last but not least the sixth historic ship was the Missouri, it marked the end of World War 2.
