Charles Michael
Born 18/2/1887
Died 28/12/1970 aged 83 years
Ashes interred at the Stirling North cemetery( his name is in the
Memorial book at Centennial Park cemetery)
Charles was born at Nangari. After working in 1914 on the construction
of the East-West Railway in order to feed his horses and keep them alive,
he enlisted in the AIF. He subsequently served in the Middle East and France.
He was injured and lost the sight of one eye. After the war he took over the
family farm Nangari.
