Existence

Existence

The need of life is necessary for all people. To know why you exist is another thing altogether. To have a cause is a way to say that you exist for a reason. If the person's cause is to destroy other lives, then the person can still say that they exist for a reason. An example of this would be Hitler. He had no reason to live other than to cause the war that he had done.

Those of us that still wonder why we exist are the ones that commit-suicide. To die for no reason, think up philosophy type things, are people still wondering "what to do next?" Although suicide is always a card that many people will not think about a lot, it is still a card that is considered by anyone what their existence is really for. It is not healthy to say, however that card has been considered by myself a few times. Not seeing the reason for my existence, and considering ending my life to end the pain, however it gets dismissed after time.

If a person that is purely good finds out that they will cause an evil event to happen, this person will have a few decisions to make. The question of whether the evil event will cause pain to friends/family will also decide the outcome of the person's decision. Most of the time the person will not believe that it is possible for them to cause an evil event to happen, and dismiss any thought associated with it. Another reaction will consist of needing to know whether it can be stopped or not, or if there is a less evil thing possible. The person will want to know how extreme of an event it is. The person may even consider ending his/her life as soon as possible to stop the evil event from happening. The problem with this action is just the fact that ending his/her own life could be the evil event that was told to them, or at least the ignition to the evil event. This is a reason why most people do not know their true cause for their life. If the person were to know that it was to kill someone else in a car accident, the person may kill himself/herself to stop it from happening. The problem being, the suicide the person just did may be the reason for the other person to die. When all the facts about something are not presented properly, it is difficult to determine what is best to do for the situation.

The people that change his/her careers every year or every time that they are uncomfortable, are the people that do not know what to do. They do this because they feel they do not understand/care what life has in store for him/her. They feel that the reason for his/her existence is unnecessary to think about. He/she will continue to change his/her life until they are forced to stop (if at all). This type of person will continue to do this due to he/she feels that if he/she is unable to feel settled, his/her existence cannot cause them to do what they are suppose to do. The funny part is that he/she may be just doing what is necessary for his/her existence. It might be part of his/her existence to just "touch" or "interact" with a great number of people in different fields. You never know what your existence has in store for you.

The tolerance that a person can have is an amazing thing to many people. Tolerance is just another way to take punishment. Verbal/physical punishment is unnecessary for anyone to receive, but people usually do it anyways. Tolerance of things like that can be a strength and/or a weakness, depending on the person. It can be a strength because the person can have a boss yell at them, and if the person can tolerate it enough, he/she is able to receive the punishment without crying. If this is possible, the boss may have more respect for you because it may just be a test to see what your limits are. This is done in many businesses; the boss will apologize if it is a test, and will do it just to test your limits. This can cause many people to quit his/her job if the person has a "break-down". The boss may do this test to see whether you are able for a position that just opened up (such as his own job - if he were to retire). Tolerance can be a weakness at the same time. If a boss yells at you (for no reason - and is not a test) and you take it, the boss may feel that he/she can do it all the time to you. It is always good to take the punishment once in a while, however it is not good to do it all the time. To know the limits to when to use your tolerances is the catch, so to tolerate something is good but to tolerate something too much is bad.

If a person's existence is only to tolerate punishment from other people, if it was myself, I would advise the person to end the punishment one way or the other. Whether it was to quit or end my own life, it would end regardless. There are limits to receiving punishment, and no matter how it happens it does need to end.
