There are many corporations in the world today. Many of them seem to have a good control of the corporation itself and the divisions that the corporation has with it. With this said, there are some corporations (not sure if a lot are this way) are run by "stupid people". These people could have a bunch of degrees from a university, however simple common sense for business these people do not have, which makes them actually "stupid people". A person that cannot see the easiest thing for a business/corporation to do, no matter how simply it could be, and this educated person cannot see it. As I have been told there is always one person in any business that seems to not be able to conceive the concept that they could be over-looking something, and unfortunately these people are usually able to get to the top area of a corporation ladder. Many times a person with a certificate in business has more common sense than the person with the business degrees because in many cases the person with a certificate in business is willing to look at a situation in the point of the retail consumers would look at the business/corporation, however the person with the business degree would not be able to "stoop" to that level of concern/thought.

If a division/branch of a corporation/business seems to be having difficulties drawing more people into itself, the person that can relate to the "consumer's point of view" will be able to see the problem, however the "stupid person" (person that cannot stoop to that level) will see the loss of profits and assume there is nothing left to do. Usually when something like this happens that branch/division will be closed, this is not a proper business move because all sides are not looked at. The same goes for any business that has one of these "stupid people" in the top area of the corporation.

The problem with many businesses/corporations is the simple fact that they care more about a profit than the consumer. When a branch/division of that business/corporation decides to look at the concerns of the consumer, the part of the business structure that is above that one (usually the head office) that branch/division is doing something wrong in their eyes. There are also still come businesses/corporations that feel the phrase "you got to spend money to make money" is an incorrect phrase. These businesses/corporations believe that as long as they keep their branches/divisions going with the absolute minimum amount of resources at their exposure, that there will be more profits than there would be if more resources were put into that branch/division. At times the branch/division is closed down because the business/corporation doesn't feel that more resources for the branch/division may/would make a difference/turn around.

In any education facility the students are taught that businesses/corporations will welcome any new ideas that they have, this is a good practice to follow however it may not be true at the same time. If the business/corporation has one of these "stupid people" running it, then any new ideas that a new/current employee may have that may or may not make a difference is dismissed. The only time that a business/corporation that has a "stupid person" running it will listen to a new idea is when he/she is cornered and forced to listen to it. There are times that it is possible to "go around" that "stupid person" however if a person does "go around" that "stupid person" then that person better make sure it was for the right thing. If a person finds a way around the "stupid person" and it was for something minor then the person might lose their job over it, however if it was for something important then the "stupid person" is the only one that is pissed about it. Having that specific "stupid person" pissed off at you for doing the right thing is really only something minor in the business world, it really only means that you need to watch your step when dealing with him in the future (if that "stupid person" is still employed by the business/corporation after that).

An example of a "stupid person" not giving the proper resources to the branch/division of the business/corporation is the following: if a filming company decides to use that branch/division for a shoot in their film, however the branch/division must ask for permission from the business/corporation due to insurance and legal complications that may occur. This basically means that no matter how much the branch/division feels that it is a good thing, they still need to go through the "stupid person" for permission to do so. If that "stupid person" doesn't feel like taking any calls concerning that specific branch/division during that day (deletes messages every time that branch/division comes up before listening to them), then the branch/division has a high chance to lose that chance to have a good thing to happen to them. A filming crew planning to use that specific branch/division for a day for their shoot is basically promising the following: 1) free promotion of the business/corporation name, 2) free promotion of that branch/division, 3) free promotion for the parent company (if there is one) of the business/corporation, 4) giving a special thanks in the credits of the film, 5) paying for using the site for their film. If the filming crew were willing to meet all the necessary guidelines laid down, this venture would be a good twist for that branch/division. However if the "stupid person" decides that he/she doesn't want to listen to anything that branch/division has to say, the respect of the employees & consumers at that branch/division is lost due to the "stupid person's" stupid & lack of proper business judgment.
