Sunshine after the Rain

Stormy weather,
Clouds covered the sky
Continuous raining
Washing away everything - WHY?

But then they told me there's always
Sunshine after the rain

So I waited patiently
And noticed the sun break through
The sky started to clear
And I met you

They say there's always
Sunshine after the rain
But they forgot to tell me
The weather turns around again

Stormy weather
On a dark, strenuous day
Continuous raining
That washed you away
