Makoto is a tall, strong and independent girl. She always eager to get into fight as she always has self confidence to win fight. Therefore she hasn't got friends before she met Usagi. She was forced to move to Usagi's school because she was fighting with others.
But deep inside her, she is a sensitive and kind girl. When she sees a cute boy, she always think of her senior schoolmate in her old school. She fell in love with him but he doesn't know about it. She loves flower and cooking. She is a good cook. She will be very happy when she is cooking, gardenning and doing house work. Her parents were died due to a plane crush, that's why she is so frightened about planes, eventhe sound of planes on the TV!!
As Sailor Jupiter, she has the most powerful attacks in the inner senshi. Her job is, i think, to protect Ami as well as attack the enermy. Mercury always needs her help in TV version. In manga, she herself is a electric conductor.

Sparkling Wide Pressure (Second and Third Series) -- She presses th elightening into a ball and then throws it to the enermy.
Super Supreme Thunder (Third Series) -- It is a more powerful form of Supreme thunder.
Jupiter Oak Evolution (Forth and Fifth Series) -- She spins and then dozens of green leaves fly out.
