Her arms are twisted behind her back. A rasping voice whisper in her ear. " You have hurt my mistress woman! Now i will have to hurt you too, just like your little friend over there." Khira’s left arm is twisted more painful. Suddenly she screams when her upper arm snaps. The beast behind her laughs with pleasure. " You will….die…for that….and that’s a promise!" Khira’s voice is filled with pain. Phoenix starts to laugh when she sees the other woman in trouble.

" You can let her go now i guess Merck. Does that hurt sweetie? Did mummies boy break your little arm?" With a sadistic grin on her face Phoenix hits Khira on her broken arm. Again Khira screams, her vision is getting troubled. Then the beast lets her go and she falls down on her knees. Her right hand holds the broken arm. " Meet Merck Khira, my sweet pet. Isn’t he just marvelous?" Tired Khira looks up to the beast. Sweat runs down her face. Her chest moves up and down, breathing heavily. She sees an ugly creature. Covered with a lizard like skin and thick horns on his head. He grins showing sharp pointy teeth. His enormous claws hang down next to his sides. His long nails are covered with blood. " As you can see, Merck accidentally ran into your back-up team. The poor thing, they wanted to hurt my little pet. Now isn’t that mean Khira? I really thought it was kind off rude." Phoenix looks at the woman on the ground. The silver glow is still there. Deep down Phoenix has to admit she admires Khira for her fighting spirit. The silver eyes turn to her now. " Why the generators Phoenix?" Khira’s voice whispers softly, trying to buy some time to regain some strength. Her arm burns with pain.

Phoenix laughs again. " The generators? Oh dearest, that was just a trick to get you down here. I really hate those cities in the sky. Damn domes are way too difficult to penetrate. So in stead of going up there i invited you down here. Pretty nice of me eh?"

Khira views the surroundings for a way to escape. Then she sees Max reach for his guns. Slowly she shakes her head. But it is too late. The blue lasers are fired at the enormous beast behind Khira. " NO MAX!! Get out of here!!" Khira sees how the beast falls down on his knees. His body is set on fire by the hot lasers. Then Phoenix turns around screaming. ""Merck!""With total rage in her eyes she lifts up her arms creating a fireball between her hands. Khira stands up, staggering dizzy. " Stop it Phoenix it is me you want!" For one moment Phoenix looks from Max to Khira deciding who to kill first. Again Khira doesn’t hesitate. Her eyes burn in the silver glow. Her right arm is lifted up into the air. Phoenix watches in amazement. The sky above Khira splits open. A white light covers the woman dressed in silver armor. Then Khira spreads her fingers and balls of lighting come down from the heavens. Quickly Khira points her hand at Phoenix. Phoenix screams when she knows she is too late. The strings of pure lighting penetrate her body. For a moment her body is lit up by the light and then the lighting burns her. Her hysterical screams fill the air. And then everything goes silent.

Khira shivers in the light before it disappears. She falls down to the ground. Exhausted she sighs. " General?" What happened here?" Max’s voice sounds confused as if he awoke from a dream. Khira looks up smiling painfully. "I think my friend we just saved the colonies. Don’t ask me how, cause god knows i really don’t know. But you have a really great timing Max!" Max grins with a dumb smile and puts his lasers back on his sides. His big muscled arms lift up the light woman. " With your permission general, i would like to go back to the Dome Colonies now. I have had it for today. Tomorrow is another day to protect the colonies."

Khira laughs, holding her left wounded arm to her chest. Her head rests on the shoulder of the man. " And we just began Max….we just began."

Both figures disappear into the shade with just the silver moon as a witness of what had just happened at the bottom of the Dome Colonies high and save in the sky.
