Kiryuu Jin
(Kiryuu-sensei)
Kiryuu-sensei was a college friend of Dr. Komatsuzaki,
and because of this was dragged into chases, explosions, kidnappings, beatings,
and raising two teenagers. (As anyone can tell you, this last was worse
than all the rest combined.) He is doing a good job of it, however; being
the kind of good-natured yet tough man whom one would be delighted to entrust
with anything from the secret of a surprise birthday party to the raising
of wild children into worthy adults.
Kiryuu is supportive of his two charges and apparently
next door to unfazeable by anything related to Lan's psychic talents. Then
again, given Wataru's personality and standard way of acting, that young
man probably burnt his guardian's fazeability out long since. ^_^
While not, of course, the most powerful of Lan's
allies, he is the most dependable and probably the most intelligent. He's
not bad at smiting villains, either.
