| If you do use a different Deity, don't force your characters to follow that one, because some don't follow any. It is okay if someone doesn't follow a Deity, but they cannot have the same privileges as someone who prays and studies every day to get something from it. From time to time, they hire on Pan (the trickster) to make the party fall prey to 'the games' to change them. In the games, each character has a chance to become a greater or weaker person, depending on how they do. The Games are games of chance, and take no skill except when to stop and when to keep going. They were made for fun, and that is how it should be played, so don't worry if your character gains an arm or leg, or loses a couple three fingers/toes!!

| There are three levels of death: the first is usually when your character has just taken enough damage to pass out and not be able to get up on their own. The second is worse than that, but you are still able to come back with a lot of help. The third is actual death, and you may get deformed or changed into another creature in order to be brought back. (Deities and favors from the G.M. come in handy at this point.)

| There are reasonable maximums for every normal playing character. Once you have crossed over the maximums in all of your stats, you may become a Demi-God, which is stonger than a mortal, but just under a Deity. You have to fight another Demi-God for their place, and if you win, can take over their position, whatever it may be. The only Deity that cannot be challenged by a character that was mortal is Zeus.
