get the gold chocobo it will take a whole lot of money and time. You can
not do this until half way through the 2nd CD when you have the highwinder.
First you must get a great male walking chocobo. Then put him in the stall.
The kid will give him a rating so make sure you get a great chocobo. I
have heard that you can use a good chocobo, but I have not tried. You can
get a walking chocobo at the north point of the 2nd main island you come
to. Once you get him you must get a great(or good?) female running chocobo.
You can get one at the islands below the first main island(the one with
midgar). Once you have a great(or good?) male walking chocobo and a great(or
good?) female running chocobo go to the chocobo master. He is on the western
part of the north continent. Hint: Talk to his chocobo he will give you
a steal materia. You will need 11 sylkis greens for each chocobo you race.
Then go to golden saucer. You must buy a life time pass. You will be going
there a lot. Go race both of your chocobo to an A class or greater. Then
go back by the chocobo masters house and steal a carob nut from the red
dragon which you fight by his house. Go to the chocobo stable and breed
your to chocobos you got. You should get a green or blue chocobo. Now you
have two choices. One, you can go get two more chocobos like you just did,
and breed the same way. The other way is to wait about a good thirty min.
or so and then you can breed the same ones over again. NOTE: Before you
breed the second time make sure you save it so that you can reset it and
do the same thing again if you get the same sex or same color. Do one of
those and make sure you get the opposite color. Like for an example, if
you got a green one the first time make sure you get a blue one the second
also make sure there the opposite sex too. Then you must go to golden saucer
and race them to A class or better. When you have both a green and blue,
A class, and opposite sex then you must breed them with a carob nut. Then
you will have a black chocobo. Next you need to go to the north continent
and get a great dashing chocobo. Make sure he is the opposite sex of the
black chocobo. Next go race the black and dashing chocobo to A class or
better(I think these have to be S class, but not sure). Then go to the
islands north west. there you will fight some goblins and get a zeio nut.
then go back and breed your black and dashing chocobo with the zeio nut. |
