Select the battle mode, name Crono (Or just leave it be) Mom wakes you up, then you get to move yourself around. Go downstairs and your mom will mention ÒThat inventor friend of yours.. oh, dear! IÕve forgotten her name!Ó Name Lucca, then talk to mom again. SheÕll give you 200 GP. Head for the mayorÕs manor. Get the chest you see when you first enter. It has a Tonic. Talk to everyone if you are playing for the first time. TheyÕll give you tips to help you get started. Go upstairs. Get the chest. It has 100 GP. Talk to the old man between the beds twice. The second time heÕll give you 300 GP. Talk to everyone else for hints about techs, etc. Go to the fair. Play around a bit, but donÕt fight Gato the robot just yet. wait till at least after you get back from your first trip to 600 AD. Buy armor from the merchant just to the upper left of the fountain. Go to the second area and Marle will bump into you. Her pendant will go flying. Pick it up and give it to her. Allow her to join you. Then you name her. Walk around and do stuff until someone says that LuccaÕs invention is ready. While waiting, buy armor for her, too. When itÕs ready, go to the north end of the square and Marle will want candy. Wait patiently, it wonÕt take long. Go see the Telepod. Talk to Lucca. Go onto the left pod. YouÕll be teleported to the one on the right. Talk to Marle. she wants to try it, too. She gets sucked into a gate. Take the pendant. YouÕll be sucked in yourself to 600 AD. 600 AD YouÕll appear in Truce canyon. Try to go to the left and youÕll be attacked by three Blue Imps. The battle will end quickly. Now go to the left. You can make your way through the rest of the canyon quickly. Once you get outside, save your game. Go to Guardia forest. Stay close to the trees to avoid battles. When you see rustling bushes, walk up to it and press A. It could be enemies or it could be a monster that drops a shelter. Enter Guardia castle. The two soldiers make fun of you, then Queen Leene tells them to stop. In the king and queenÕs tower, collect the treasure. Go to the queenÕs room and talk to the queen. She says she wants to talk to you privately. Se reveals herself as Marle. Then she disappears. Go downstairs and Lucca will appear and tell you that Marle is Princess Nadia and descendant of queen Leene. Marle disappeared because history was changed and Leene might be killed. If you save Leene, history as you know it will remain unchanged. Rest in the KnightÕs quarters and go back through Guardia forest. Lucca should learn flame toss while going through. To the lower right, there is a power tab. It might be hard to find, though. Go to the market and buy stuff until you have at least 10 GP left. Stay the night at the inn, then save. Go to the Cathedral. Talk to the lady by the organ. ÒOh dear! It looks like you can use some food and a place to... rest!Ó A sparkle will appear. press A on it and youÕll be attacked. Another one will appear, but Frog saves you. Name him. Play the organ to reveal the hidden passage. Going through the cathedral, Crono and frog should learn X-Strike, a dual tech that is useful when battling Yakara, the boss. From the secret passage, go left until you canÕt go left anymore, go up through the door, go up the stairs that you see then go through the door you see. Press A on the dresser with the mirror. YouÕll find the ÒSecret Naga-ettie BromideÓ YouÕll be attacked by 3 Henches. Use cyclone or fire whirl on the center one. Exit, go right, then up. get the chest. it has a steel saber for Crono (attack:15) Push A in front of the skull switch left of the spikes that surround the door. The spikes will disappear. Talk to the 2 soldiers in there. In the pot, there is a Power tab. Go back down the stairs and go to the right . There is another staircase. Go up. The first door is probably where the monsters hang out when itÕs not their shift. They think youÕre in disguise. They wonÕt attack, lucky for you. Exit, go up, then right. Go through the door. you se the king, Leene, and a soldier. Try to exit the way you came in and youÕll be attacked by three gnashes. Go right. YouÕll see mystics worshipping Magus. They wonÕt attack you. Go out . Go back down, then go up the center. Stay to the walls if you want to avoid fights. Go through the door, to the save point. use a shelter if you need to, then save. Go up the stairs, to the left , then get the chest. It has a shelter go down the stairs. A trap will trigger and youÕll slide down. Bother the hench and youÕll be attacked by him. Go through the door. avoid the bats and flip the skull switch. Nothing happens. Go through the door and go down the hall. Avoid the rolling hench or youÕll be attacked by another Hench and 2 mad bats. go down and flip the skull switch you see, avoiding the enemies. The spikes in the room next to you will go down. Go down, back up the stairs, to the left, go down and save (If you want to,) Go up and through the door. YouÕll be attacked by 3 henches and 2 Diablos. Get the chest. It has an Iron sword for Frog. (Attack: 10) Play the organ. Go back out of the room, go left, then down the slope that was a staircase, Go up through the door, through that room, down the hall until you see a door that wasnÕt there last time coming through. Go up, use a shelter, save, then go through the door. Go up. Leene goes and the chancellor turns into Yakara. Have Crono and Frog use X-strike and Lucca use flame toss. If someone is low on HP, have Lucca use Tonic. Yakara wonÕt last too long. After beating him, get the chest on the right. It has a Mid ether. The chest on the left has the real Chancellor. He was stuffed in there. You return to the castle. Frog leaves. Go up the right tower to the room where Marle disappeared. She rematerializes. Go back to Truce canyon. Go to the place where you entered 600 AD. YouÕll go back to 1000 AD. 1000 AD You reappear by the Telepod machine. Go to Guardia forest. Then go to Guardia castle. YouÕre arrested for kidnapping the princess. No matter what happens in the trial, you wind up in jail. In your cell, there is a pink object. pick it up. It has 1 ether. drink from the cup to restore HP/MP, then save. Wait until the execution. Lucca will save you. Exit the room and free the boy who is about to be executed. Except in the execution room, all guards lying down have Mid Tonics. Search the place thoroughly. When fighting blue shields, wait until their guard is down, then attack. When you enter a room with a knocked-down guard(with 5 Mid tonics,) a save point, and a piece of paper, read the paper then save. It shows how to beat the dragon tank. Fight the dragon tank. Defeat the head with regular attacks and then use fire whirl on the grinder and tank itself. Have Lucca heal the party with tonic or mid tonic when needed. When it is beaten, itÕs time to escape. Go down the tower, collecting chests as you go. Marle joins you as you escape through the forest. You find a gate, jump in, and go to 2300 AD. 2300 AD You appear in the Bangor dome. Exit, then go south to the Trann dome. From the merchant, buy 1 auto gun, 3 iron suits and 3 iron helmets. Also, by lots of tonic, heal, Mid Tonic, maybe a couple of revives, and a shelter or two. Also, sell all unneeded weapons and armor. Rest in the enertron and talk to everyone! Now go to lab 16. The reason why you should buy lots of Tonic is because the rats there steal them from you when you touch them. The shadows can only be defeated by flame toss or fire whirl. When you finally get out, go to the Arris dome. Rest in the enertron, buy and sell stuff, then save. Go down the ladder. Go left and up the ladder. the door on the right is inaccessible for now. Go right, up, right, up,(the rat you see seems to be a statue) left, straight, up, right, up. (ThatÕs how you get through) In the next room, try to go forward through the door and youÕll be attacked by the guardian. Two bits come down. Defeat the side bits first, then attack the guardian with cyclone and regular attacks. (DONÕT use fire whirl. It is ineffective.) It will count down from 5 then revive the bits. If you attack the guardian when the bits are still there, it will counterattack. It will break down eventually. Go up through the door. There is a dead person in the room. He has a seed. The chest has a Mid Ether. ÒTalkÓ to the dead person. On a piece of paper it says that the rat who looks like a statue knows the secret of this dome. Go out, then Go out of the room where you fight the guardian. Chase the rat by dashing with the B button. If you miss it, just exit, then reenter the room. It says.. wait, would I tell you? This is one thing you must find out yourself! Go out, and in front of the blue ÒComputerÓ with the sparkle do.. what the rat said. Enter the door and make your way to the info center. You find out that the time gate is east of the Arris dome, in the Proto dome. Marle pushes a button. You see the day of Lavos. You decide to stop the day of Lavos. That is your mission in the game. Go back to the place with all the people. Doan will give you the jet bike key. (And do you believe it? The people there donÕt know what healthy means!) Rest in the enertron, buy stuff, and save. Go to lab 32. Race Johnny. Use a turbo boost at the last second. When (and if) you win, go back to the left and get the race log. Exit lab 32, then head for the Proto dome. Inside, you will find Robo. Lucca fixes him. You name him. Robo says that if you go to the factory, you might be able to get to the time gate. Go to the factory, north of the Proto dome. If you save, the save file text will finally change from ÒBeyond the ruinsÓ to ÒThe Factory ruins.Ó Enter the factory and press A in front of the screen.(Do that in front of all of the screens in the factory.)Robo will cut off the laser that blocks the right conveyer. You will then be attacked by an acid (Not much HP, but high defense! Same for the alkalines, which are just like them, except green instead of orange! If you have Marle in your party, she and Robo will learn Aura beam, which has the same effect as aura whirl. Take the elevator on the right. From the elevator, go down, down the ladder on the right, left, in the door, then hold left and B to go against the flow of the conveyer. The crane will pick you up and drop you on another conveyer. You enter 3 rooms with enemies. First, one Proto 3, then, a Proto 3 and 2 debuggers (Use cyclone on them to quickly take then out,) then a Proto 3 and 4 debuggers!(Use rocket roll on them if you have it.) When you finally have control over the party again, go down, to the right, (youÕll be attacked by bugs) up the ladder, through the door, up, right, get the chest, go through the door, get the chests, see what the computer says, exit, go left, enter the door, get the chests, go down, enter the crane code, (First press A, then enter the code at the beep. First push X, A, then press A again after the crane removes the first barrel. At the beep, push B B to remove the other barrel)Êgo back through the room that you got there from, down the ladder, to the right, in the door, (Fell your way up and right, then press A when facing right. YouÕll get a Mid ether) back down the ladder, as far left as you can go, in the door, get the chest with the bolt sword,(Attack:25) see the computer, all the way back to the first room in the factory, to the left elevator, use a shelter on the save point, then save. go up through the door and fight1 acid and 2 alkaline. Get the chest, then see what the computer says. The hatch in the corner will open. go down the ladder, then left. YouÕll be attacked by an alkaline. Go further left and youÕll be attacked by another Alkaline. go left, down, and right. While going right, youÕll be attacked by 2 acid and 1 alkaline. Go through the door, then up to the right. The chest has a hammer arm for Robo. (Attack:25) Go to the left and youÕll find a chest. it has a titian vest (Defense: 32) Go back to the right and See the computer. Robo will make it deactivate the Laser security system. You will then be attacked by 4 acid and 1 alkaline. in the lower-left corner of the room, there is a ladder. Go down it. go right, then up. The chest has a plasma gun for Lucca. (Attack:25) At the computer, press X A B Y at the beep. The door will open. Go through. Flip the switch you see. You then must escape. Go back the way you came. The elevators will not work. YouÕll eventually meet up with the R-series, RoboÕs friends. They thrash him and attack you. Have Crono use cyclone (or fire whirl, if you have Lucca with you) on any of the ÒColumns.Ó 2 cyclones will take out one ÒColumnsÓ After defeating the R-series, you take Robo back to the Proto dome for repairs. Robo decides to join you. You take the gate to the end of time. The end of time GoÊdown to the right through the door and talk to the old man. He says this is the end of time. He also says one of you must stay behind. Try to leave and he says ÒHeyÓ (Whenever he says that, he has something important to say.) Talk to him again. He tells you to take a peek in the room behind him. Do so. You will meet Spekkio. He tells you about the kingdom of magic, Also known as Zeal. Then, from the door, walk around the room 3 times, touching all the corners. Crono learns lightning magic, Marle learns water magic, And Lucca learns fire magic. You can challenge him, but chances are youÕll lose. DonÕt worry, if you lose, you get up. Exit, then talk to the old man. He tells you that you should return to the present. Go to Medina village, 1000 AD. 1000 AD You appear in someoneÕs closet. The house is inhabited by mystics. In fact, the entire village is inhabited by mystics! The inhabitants of the house you appear inÕs motto is ÒForgive and forget.Ó Not many Mystics agree with them. Go to the square. The Mystics are worshipping Magus. The statue is probably the one from the cathedral. Go to the southwest, to MelchiorÕs hut. Go buy stuff from him. When you leave, Melchior tells you to return to Truce via the cave north of his hut, HekranÕs cave. Do so. When you enter, two Henches will see you and say ÒDeath to the Mystics enemies!Ó They attack you. Other then the Henches, only magic works on the enemies. Use Marle and LuccaÕs Antipode attack to attack a group of enemies. Laser spin also works. ItÕs pretty easy to navigate through, so IÕll leave it to you. When you see a save point and can reach it, youÕre almost through. Hekran is just ahead. When fighting him, you should have Crono, Marle, and Lucca or Crono, Robo, and Lucca. If you have Marle and Lucca, have them use antipode and Crono use Lightning. If you have Robo and Lucca, have them use fire punch and Crono use lightning. Use Mid tonics when your HP is low. Whenever he says ÒGo ahead! Try and attack!Ó DONÕT, heÕll hit you with a waterwave attack. Wait until it says ÒBrief counterattack break,Ó then continue. When he is beaten, He says ÒIf only the great Magus who brought forth Lavos 400 years ago, had destroyed the human race! The world wouldÕve belonged to us Mystics! GRRRRRRRRR!Ó You decide that if you defeat Magus, you might prevent the day of Lavos! Go further and jump into the pool. You reappear out of a whirlpool, by LuccaÕs house. Enter with Lucca in your party and go upstairs, the right staircase to the right. Talk to LuccaÕs mom. Taban will appear. He will then go downstairs. Talk to him. He will give you the Taban vest for Lucca. (Defense: 33+ Speed+2/ ÒFireÓ guard up) Go to the fairgrounds to the Telepod. Take the gate. You wind up in the end of time. You can now go to 600 AD. Do so. 600 AD You reappear in Truce canyon. Go to Guardia castle. Go to the kingÕs quarters. He is injured. Talk to the king. He says the hero has appeared. Also, you hear talk about Cyrus. The king says that the boy went to the southern continent, accessible by Zenan bridge. Talk to the one with the gold helmet. He says that the rations have run out. Go back to the castle and go to the kitchen. Talk to the chef, then leave. On your way out, the chef will give you jerky and a power tab. Return to Zenan bridge. Give the jerky to the knight captain. MagusÕ army launches an attack. Talk to the knight captain. Volunteer to help. He will give you a gold helmet. (Def: 18) Go across the bridge. You meet Ozzie. You have 2 battles with the deceased before battling Zombor. Use ice and rocket punch on the head and fire and lightning on the body. When he dies, go left. You will be on the southern continent, near Dorino. Go to the market and buy and sell stuff. Go southeast. There is talk in Porre that the hero lives in that village. Go to TataÕs house. Tata is the so-called ÒHero.Ó Someone in the ElderÕs house says that Tata went north. Go to the cursed woods. When you see rustling bushes, enter from the back. This is FrogÕs house. You tell him the King was injured. He tells you that he canÕt do anything about it. Go to Denardo Mountains, east of Dorino. Get the chest you see. Go around the enemies. Go up until you see Tata. He runs away from a Goblin. You fight it. When you beat it, he appears to the left. He tells you to run away while you can. You fight an Ogan. have Lucca use flame toss on it to make itÕs hammer go up in flames. use regular attacks on it then. Go up the ladder. Go down the path just to your left. The chest you then see has a revive. Go back up. The chest you see has an ether. Go up the ladder. You canÕt avoid the fight with an Ogan and a Goblin. Go right, across the bridge, down, up the ladder, up, up the ladder, up, right, right, avoid the Free Lancer, right, fight 2 Free Lancers, get the chest, go left, keep going then go up (not up the ladder, but the path to its left) get the chest, go down, right, NOW up the ladder, get the chest, go up the ladder, fight the Ogan, go left, fight the Ogan and Free Lancer, up to the left, up the ladder, get the chest, up the ladder, right, right, fight Free Lancer and Ogan, go up the ladder, fight 2 Free lancers, get the chest, go up, then left, youÕll have several encounters with enemies. When you finally get through the area, go up, left, fight 2 Free lancers and a Bellbird, go up, left, down the ladder, fight 2 Free Lancers, left, left, fight the Bellbirds, across the bridge, talk to the monster until he gives you a magic tab, go down, use a shelter and save at the save point, go down the ladder, down the next ladder, right, down, down the ladder, fight the goblins, up the ladder, and in the cave. The kid there says ÒIÕm the wind! Woosh!Ó Go up and try to get the sword. Tell the kid youÕre here for the Masamune. He calls on his big brother, Masa. The kid that you saw first is Mune. They test you. They turn into their real form. Use Fire sword and napalm on the green-collared elf until they both are defeated. Use the same technique as before when they fuse, but whenever it looks like it is blowing, itÕs preparing for itÕs tornado attack. Have Crono use slash to stop the tornado attack. When you beat it, they turn into 2 people again. You get the broken Masamune. Masa and Mune send you to the base of the mountain. Go to TataÕs House. Talk to him. He gives you the hero medal. Go back to FrogÕs house. Talk to him. He walks away from the chest. Get it. It has the other half of the Masamune. The sword has MelchiorÕs name on it. Talk to Frog again. ÒNary a soul remains to mendeth the Masamune.Ó Not in this time era, anyway! Go to MelchiorÕs house, 1,000 AD. 1000 AD Go to MelchiorÕs hut. He tells you that you need Dreamstone to repair the Masamune. Go to 65,000,000 BC. 65,000,000 BC You appear in the Mystic mountains. You are also in mid air. You fall, then fight reptites. You are soon outnumbered. Ayla comes and helps you out. **HINT** all reptiles, and I mean ALL of them, hate lightning. After two battles, you name Ayla. Ayla likes you because you are strong. Follow Ayla right, then down. You fight a few battles, but you can avoid many of them. After you exit, go northeast to Ioka village. Go to the chiefÕs hut. the chief is Ayla! You have a wild night of dancing and eating, the next morning, you find the gate key is missing. You go see Ayla. Ayla says the Reptiles took it. She also says someone in the village might have a clue. But first, go to the hunting range and build up Ayla until she learns Rollo kick. Then, go to the forest maze. Talk to Kino. He says that he took your stuff. He is sorry, and also says the Reptiles took the gate key. Follow the footsteps to get through the maze. When you get through, go to the reptile lair. Fall down the holes to progress. When you get to Azala, he asks you what the gate key does. No matter what, you end up fighting Nizbel. Use lightning (or volt bite, if you have it) to lower his defense and use strong physical attacks. When he discharges, heal up with Mid Tonics. When he dies, you get back the gate key. You go back to AylaÕs hut. You should then go back to 1000 AD to have Melchior fix the Masamune. 1000 AD Melchior will fix the Masamune. Take it to frog in 600 AD. 600 AD Take the Masamune to Frog. You spend the night at FrogÕs house. You see flashbacks of Frog when he was human. He was called Glenn then. He decides to go and defeat Magus, or at least try. Take Frog to Spekkio so he can learn magic, then go to the Magic cave, on the northeast corner of the southern continent. It may be hard to see the cave, though. Frog will equip the Masamune and open an entrance to the Magic cave. Now THATÕS power! ItÕs pretty easy to get through the magic cave. After that, you are just outside MagusÕ castle. Enter. Go up the stairs, to the left, up, down the hall (talking to everyone as you go,) all the way up until you canÕt anymore, go back down to the first room, to the right, then up until you canÕt anymore, (talking to everyone as you go) go back down to the first room, then you see a sparkle. Ozzie appears. He says you must defeat all 100 enemies in the castle, along with Slash and Flea. You fight 6 enemies now. Go to the right then up. If you talk to anyone, youÕll be attacked. When you make it all the way up the hallway, you see a monster. ItÕs not Flea, though. The battle will end easily, and it will use MP buster before it dies, just like Zombor. Then, the bat that was following you becomes Flea! Use Tripleraid on him if you have it. He uses strong status-changing spells. When you beat him, go back to the first room, go to the left, then up. You see an Omnicore and several descendants. Go around. Go up and you see more Descendants an Omnicore. Go around. Go up until you see 5 kids. Talk to the one in front. The 5 kids turn into 5 Descendants. When you beat them, you meet Slash. Fight him. Use Tripleraid (if you have it) or X-strike. After a while, Slash grabs his slasher sword and the fight continues! He is just the same, except he has more HP and uses slash, just like Crono. Use the same method. When you beat him, you get the slasher sword (attack:43&Speed+6) and you can save at the save point. Go back to the first area and touch the sparkle. YouÕll be transported to another area. From here on, itÕs basically you chasing Ozzie through the castle, fighting enemies as you go. Here are some pointers- in the side-scrolling areas, to avoid fights, avoid the balls. The Jugglers strengthen their guard when attacked, depending on how you attack it. If you attack it with magic, it turns on magical defense and vice versa. In one room, Ozzie opens trap doors. When you fall down, there are 4 sparkles, one on each wall. They could be a transport back up to the room, a save point, or enemies. They donÕt have names, but I like to call them ÒKiller save points of doom.Ó When you finally fight the Ozman himself, he appears to be protected by an ice barrier. Hit the switches to trigger the trap doors. You eventually hit the one that opens a trap door right under Ozzie. He falls in. ThatÕs not the last of him, though. You see him later in the game. Two sparkles appear. The one on the right is a save point. The one on the left is a teleport to a passage way to MagusÕ room. When you fight him, use magic depending on which barrier he has. If his barrier is lightning, use lightning. (RoboÕs laser spin counts as shadow.) If you donÕt have the magic he has. (If you donÕt have Lucca when his barrier is Fire) use physical attacks. When he starts using Dark Matter, etc., anythingÕll hurt him. When and if you defeat Magus, a tame gate opens and you three are sent to 65,000,000 BC. 65,000,000 BC You awaken in AylaÕs hut. Frog asks if Ayla had seen Magus. You donÕt know where he is. You rest awhile. Later, you find out that the north wood is burning! Go there. It is the ruins of Laruba. Ayla heads off to the Dactyl Nest to find the dactyl, so she can go to the Tyrano lair. Follow her there. (Funny quote of the day- ÒWin and live. Lose and die. Rule of life. No change rule.Ó-Ayla) ItÕs pretty easy to get through the Dactyl nest, so IÕll leave that to you. When you find Ayla, quickly go to her. You join her and you go to the Tyrano lair. Go up, take the right passage, fight a Reptite and 2 Cave apes, go up and down the stairs, down, fight 2 Reptites, go right, free the cave people, continue going right, up, fight 3 Reptites, go down the stairs, down, left, fight 3 Reptites, go left, free Kino, follow him to the first room, enter the passage that Kino opens, go up the stairs, down, step on both switches, take the left door, go left, enter the door, go through the room, up the stairs, down, right, fight a Reptite and a volcano, keep going right, fight 2 Reptites and 2 Volcanoes, go right, fight 2 Avian Rexes, enter the door, hit he switch on the right, enter the passageway, hit the switch, go back outside, go left, fight an Avian Rex and a Terrasaur, try to enter the door, fight a Reptite and 2 Volcanoes, enter the door, save at the save point, try to go upstairs, and fight Nizbel the 2nd. Use the same technique you did with the first one. When he dies, save again, then go upstairs. Go down, right, fight a volcano and an Avian Rex, go right, fight 2 Avian Rexes, Keep going right until you canÕt anymore, fight an Avian Rex, enter the door, Hit the top switch for a save point, enter the passageway, hit the switch, go back outside, go left, up, fight a Terrasaur, fight 2 Terrasaurs, enter the door, go up, see Azala, go into the door behind him, go up, and fight Azala and Black Tyrano. Use volt bite on Azala, then, when it says ÒRemoves def., is storing powerÓ use volt bite on Black Tyrano. After the battle, Lavos falls to Earth, crushing the Tyrano lair. You escape just in time. In the lair Ruins, there is a gate that leads to 12,000 BC. 12,000 BC You appear in a cave. Go out, then east to the Skyway. enter the warp to go up to the magical kingdom of Zeal. Exit the skyway, then enter the town of Enhasa. Talk to everyone and open the books in this order- water, wind and fire. This will open a passageway to a place where you can fight 6 Nus. Like Spekkio, itÕs just practice. When youÕre done, take the land bridge north of Enhasa. Go north, and enter the Skyway you see. You are now on what I call the main continent of Zeal. Go west, to Kajar. Talk to everyone and open the books in the order water, wind, and fire. A passage opens. Enter. Press ÒAÓ on the doll. A black rock is inside. When youÕre done, enter the cave, to the east. Walk into the pillar of light. Then exit the cave. Go east to the next cave and do the same. Then, go to Zeal palace. Talk to everyone. Go to the northeast corner of the palace. Enter the bedroom. Take the right door. You see Janus and Schala. Schala give Janus an amulet. She then is told to go to the Ocean palace. The Prophet then asks you how you got here. You take him to the Time Gate. You go through and Schala is ordered to seal it up. You go back to 65,000,000 BC. 65,000,000 BC You decide to open the sealed door in RoboÕs time. Go to 2300 AD. 2300 AD Take the Jet Bike through Lab 32, then go to the Sewer passage. ItÕs easy to get through the sewers. Avoid all objects planted on the path to avoid battles. When you make it through, go south to the KeeperÕs dome (DONÕT go to death peak.) Open the sealed door. ÒTalkÓ to the sparkles that appear, Then enter t he other sealed door. The Epoch is there. Approach the back. (Funny quote of the day: ÒHow do you tell the front from the backÓ - Marle) A Nu appears with seats for the Epoch. Belthasar put his memories into the Nu. You then Name the Epoch. Go to 12,000 BC. 12,000 BC Go west to the Terra cave. Go up the ladder, then left. You are now in the village of Algetty. Go down. In that area, build up all the characterÕs techs until they have only 1 to go. For Crono, make him build up his techs until he learns all of them. Follow him into the ocean palace. ItÕs pretty easy to get through the ocean palace. Here are some hints. The red scouters are only vulnerable to fire, the white to lightning, the blue to ice. When fighting Jinn and Barghest, defeat Barghest first. Attack once, then it says ÒBarghest shield destroyedÓ attack Jinn. The Mages know lock, but that only disables techs. When you get to the Golem twins, have Lucca use Hypno wave on every turn and have Crono and Marle use Ice sword on one. When it dies, use the same technique on the other one. When they die, go up. You fight Lavos. You are supposed to die. Go up to Lavos. He destroys Crono. Schala gets you out of the ocean palace. Lavos destroys Zeal. You are in a hut. Crono is gone. When you change characters, put Ayla in front, then your two favorite. Go to the Commons. Dalton, the new king, captures you. You lose all your gold, equipment, and items. The reason you should have Ayla is because if a guard sees you, you can fight. If you donÕt have Ayla and donÕt have any equipment, you go back to your cell. Go up the ladder. You find that you are on the Blackbird. Head for the end of time. The End of time At first, all he gives you is a song. Try to leave on the Epoch. He says ÒHeyÓ He then gives you the Chrono Trigger. He says he is Gaspar. Go to BelthasarÕs lab, 2300 AD. 2300 AD Belthasar says you need a clone to do anything. Go to 1000 AD and play the 40 point game in the tent of horrors. You get a clone. Then, go back to 2300 AD. OzzieÕs hideout- 600 AD If you have Magus in your party, they think he is a traitor. ItÕs basically you chasing Ozzie up. Go up from the entrance and fight Flea. SheÕs pretty easy. Go up and enemies attack you on the conveyers. But they fall off. Go up. You fight Slash. Go up. DONÕT get the chest. Keep going, and an Imp will take out the trap. The chest has a full ether. In the wall south of the door that leads you forward, there is a passage. ThereÕs a magic tab, a doom sickle for Magus (Attack: 160+ attack up when ally falls.) a Gloom helm, (Defense: 42+ protects status) and a gloom cape(Defense: 84) Go up. You fight Great Ozzie, Super Slash, and Flea Plus. Have Ayla Charm the Ozzie pants, Flea Vest, and Slasher 2, then use Falcon hit on Slash and Flea, then use dual techs on Ozzie. When and if you win, go up. You fight Great Ozzie by himself. He uses the Ice Barrier. Hit a switch. A trap door opens under you. Go back up. A cat opens a trap door under Ozzie. Bye-Bye!!!! To see the results of your victory, go to Medina. The Mystics no longer worship anyone at the square anymore. The shop prices are reasonable. Congrats, you have completed this side quest! The forest/LuccaÕs Mom- 12,000 BC, 600, AD, 1,000 AD In 12,000 BC, someone asks what to do with a plant. Tell her to plant it with hope. Go to 600 AD. The sunken desert is south of FionaÕs villa. You have a campfire scene. (Save before this) Lucca sees a gate. You reappear in LuccaÕs house, 990 AD. You see LuccaÕs Mom get stuck in a machine. Go to that room, then press A on the sparkle. When it asks for a password, enter in the buttons L A R A on the controller. Do it quickly! After that, you take the gate back, then talk to Robo. he gives Lucca a green dream. It allows recovery once after death per battle. Congrats, you have completed this side quest. Rainbow shell/MarleÕs father 600AD,1000 AD Go to 600 AD, in Choras (Southeastern corner) Go to the Cafe and talk to Toma. He gives you TomaÕs pop. Go to TomaÕs grave, 1000 AD and pour it on his grave. He tells you the location of the GiantÕs claw. Go there in 600 AD. ItÕs pretty easy to get through. **HINT! HINT!** use charm on the fossil apes to get Megaelixers! You find the blue rock here. When you see a save point, prepare to fight rust Tyrano. Any powerful techs will do. When you beat it, go up to the rainbow shell. You cannot lift it. Go down. You will automatically go to Guardia castle. You give it to the king. This side quest ainÕt over yet! Go to 1000 AD, Guardia castle. The king has been put on trial. You must have Marle in the party. Go to the courtroom. The king says he is being framed. You are pulled out of the courtroom. Go to the treasure room. You hear from the 2 monsters. That The chancellor is trying to frame the king. Why? To avenge his ancestorÕs death! The chancellor is Yakra the 13th!!! Go through the hall. When you get to the Rainbow shell, Marle takes off a piece. Get back to the courtroom. The guards do not allow entry. Marle enters the courtroom via the window. You fight Yakra the 13th. Arc impulse works well. After the battle, a short demo scene plays. Marle apologizes to her father. Go back to the courtroom and get the Yakra key. Go down. On the way down, the chest (Which was locked) will now open. You get- 1 (Slightly used + abused) CHANCELLOR! (Batteries not included. :) ) (Deja vu!) In the treasure room, Melchior makes cool stuff. If you go there after the Sun Stone Scenario, heÕll make a rainbow sword for Crono. Congrats, you have completed this side quest! The sun stone/Multiple time periods Go to the sun palace (Not the sun keep, but the sun palace!) Have fire protection, and head in. Fight Son of Sun. Attack the flames with normal attacks. If you get the wrong one, it will counterattack. If not, it should damage Son of sun. He does roulette shuffle every once in a while, he also does flare. When he dies, go up. Son of sun will turn into the moon stone. Go to 65,000,000 BC and place it in the Sun keep. Go to 2300 AD. It isnÕt in the Sun keep. Go to 1000 AD. Not there. Go to 600 AD. ItÕs there. Go back to 1000 AD. Go to Porre. The mayorÕs house has a lot of sparkles coming from it. The Mayor is greedy and wonÕt let you have it. Buy Jerky, then go to the same house in 600 AD (You can buy jerky in the snail stop in 1000 AD. ) Give the jerky (donÕt sell it!) to the woman in the elderÕs house, 600 AD. Now, the mayor in 1000 AD will give it back. (If you already did this, then heÕll just give it to you.) Place the sun stone in the sun keep, then go to 2300 AD. It will have turned into a sun stone. Lucca will make a Wonder Shot and Taban will make the sun shades. If you already completed the Rainbow Shell scenario, go to Melchior and heÕll make a Prism Specs. He then makes a rainbow, CronoÕs most powerful weapon! Congrats, you have completed this side quest! Where machinery originated- 2300 AD Go to the Geno dome. ÒTalkÓ to the computer. Robo MUST be at the front of the party. The door opens. Go in. Go on the conveyer and be prepared to fight many enemies. Some say this place is the best place to build experience. Go right, then down the ÒDust chuteÓ if you wanna do it again. From the door just above the conveyer belt, go left, up, in the door, up, fight 4 laser guards, up, flip the left and right switches (leave the center one be) go down, right, fight 3 proto 4s, and ÒTalkÓ to the computer. It will give you info on the Geno dome. Energize in the pod to the left, then run over left, up, left, and in the pod. Get the doll. Energize again, then go left, down, right, and in the pod. Go in the door and get the 2 chests. From the door to that room, go right, and in the door. Go up the elevator. Save. Go in the door to the left of the one with the elevator. Go up, keep going, through the door, up, fight 2 laser guards and 2 proto 4s, in the door, down the elevator. Go left, through the wall, down, right, and flip the switch. The conveyer will reverse. Go all the way back to the save point, save, down the elevator, charge in the pod, go left, down, right, up, left, up, left, then enter the pod. Go in the door, then have the guard machine follow you. Go down, right, down (against the flow of the conveyer) right, down, all the way to the left, up, then line up the guard machine that follows you with the other one. They short circuit. Get the doll and the chest, then go to the save point. Save, then go down, left, and meet Atropos XR. Atropos as been changed into an evil robot by Mother Brain. Robo fights her, one-on-one. Uzzi punch works well. When you win, Atropos gives you her ribbon, which boosts RoboÕs magic defense by 10 and speed by 3. Go left, up, left, down the ladder, left, up, left, up, and see humans be processed. Go right, down, get the chest, then go back to the ladder. From the ladder, go left, up, fight 6 laser guards, go up, fight 6 more laser guards, place the dolls on the green lights, and in the door. Fight Mother Brain. Any powerful techs that damage all enemies will do. The displays heal the Mother, but are easily defeated. SheÕs pretty easy. After that, the factory closes... FOREVER. Congrats, you have completed this side quest! CyrusÕ ghost- 1000 and 600 AD In Choras, go to the cafe. The man closest to the door says his tools were stolen. Go to 1000 AD, the Choras inn. The man that is Guzzling awayÊwill give you his tools. They are at his house. When you get them, go to 600 AD and give them to the man. Go to the residence and talk to the man. He will go to the northern ruins. Follow him. He says he canÕt repair the spots where the monsters hide. Clear out all the monsters in the ruins that are accessible, but DONÕT COLLECT THE TREASURE!!! Pick it up later, in 1000 AD. Once you clear out the monsters, go back to the carpenterÕs house. Pay him 2000 GP to repair the ruins. Follow him to the ruins. Clear out the monsters. Go to the basement, in the door that was inaccessible. Have Frog in the party and examine the grave. It is CyrusÕ grave. the Masamune then becomes powered up. Clear out the rest of the ruins. Go back to the carpenterÕs house and have him repair the ruins. Clear out the ruins. Go to 1000 AD, collect the treasure, then collect it again in 600 AD. Congrats, you have completed this side quest. Help someone close to you-Black Omen You can do any of the above side quests in any order, but DO THIS ONE LAST!! What do you do first? Go to the Black Omen. ItÕs in 12,000 BC, 600 AD, 1000 AD, and 2300 AD. In 2300 AD, she wonÕt let you in. Who is she? Queen Zeal! Have an Ice magic user and head in. But the first attack is before you set foot inside! Lightning 2 will take care of it. When you get inside, Queen Zeal greets you and then you fight the Mega Mutant. Ice 2 works well. ItÕs pretty easy to navigate through. At one point, you encounter a save point and 2 Nus. The one on the left is a merchant. The one on the right will get you outta here. Go up. The back wall has a passage. Go in. You go through several rooms, then fight the Giga mutant. Magic works well, but physical attacks donÕt. After beating it and going through a few rooms, you fight the Terra Mutant. You should use your strongest Magic attacks, even though it heals the bottom. When the top dies, the bottom dies shortly after. Go up, then go up the hallway, then be prepared to fight a Lavos spawn. This one is more powerful than the ones on death peak. Use the same method, though. use strong attacks that damage only the head. Shortly after that battle, you fight Queen Zeal herself!!!!! She uses halation, which causes HP to go to 1! If you have Ayla and/or Frog, have that person use Frog Squash or Dino Tail at that time. You then fight the Mammon machine. Any powerful techs will do. ItÕs not that hard. You then fight Queen Zeal as a HUGE person. Attack only the head. If you have Magus in your party, you will hear the music you heard when you fought him in 600 AD. If not, you hear the music you heard when you fought Masamune, Azala and Black Tyrano, etc. When she dies, you have completed this side quest. Now itÕs time to fight Lavos! The final battle The final battle consists of three parts. If you take Epoch, you skip part one. If you beat it before and come back, you just head in.
