The Cast

Character List

The characters are arranged by game in (sorta) the order they join the party. Most have descriptions, but I'll add them to those that don't when I can.

From Chrono Trigger:
Crono- a teen-age kid who embarks on a time-traveling quest to save the future. Doesn't talk much.
Marle- actually Princess Nadia of Guardia in disguise, she's sorta Crono's girlfriend and the one who vanishes at the Millenial Fair after being sucked through a time portal.
Lucca- a mechanical genius and Crono's pal. It's her machine that accidentally sends Marle back in time.

Frog- a former Guardia knight of the middle ages who was turned into a frog by an evil wizard
Robo- a futuristic robot reprogrammed by Lucca who can't quite remember his original purpose
Ayla- a cavewoman from the prehistoric and the chief of the Ioka tribe
Magus- an evil wizard from the dark ages that was transported to the middle ages whose goal is to destroy Lavos. He later joins you.

From Final Fantasy II (U.S.):

The Good Guys:

Terra- half-human, half-esper who was taken by the Empire but escapes and joins the Returners, a resistance group

Locke- a "treasure hunter" whose girlfriend was killed by the Empire
Edgar- king of Figaro castle and a bit of a ladies' man

Sabin- Edgar's twin brother and a student of the martial arts
Shadow- a mysterious ninja

Celes- a former general of the Empire who defects to the Returners

Cyan- a knight of Doma and retainer to the throne

Gau- a boy tossed out on the Veldt and raised by beasts
Setzer- a gambler and owner of the world's only airship

Strago- an old man from Thamasa and Relm's grandfather
Relm- a young artist whose drawings can come to life

Mog- a moogle with all the greatest dance moves

Gogo- a mysterious master of mimicry

Umaro- a sasquatch
The Bad Guys:
Ultros- an annoying octopus who just keeps coming back for more

Kefka- a total evil nutcase who's a traitor with no regard for human lives. The guy everyone loves to hate.

Zelda Series:

Link- a brave youth who goes on many quests, most of which involve saving the princess Zelda.

Zelda- the princess of Hyrule that always seems to be in some sort of trouble.

Owl- a wise old owl who guides Link on Koholint Island (Link's Awakening).

Secret of Mana:

JJ- a sprite child who's trying to find his village
Daphne- a girl from Pandora who's trying to find her boyfriend, Dyluck
Duncan- a boy who unlocks the power of the Mana sword and must save the world from an evil empire
