From The Soul

She's like an eagle
Rare and regal
Wings that shield me in the storm
Downy feathers keep me warm
Soaring gently in the sky
She's the first to go this high
Moving swiftly wild and free
Landing quickly on a tree

It seems to me she's like a tree
Swaying ever gracefully
Branches shield me from the rain
Autumn leaves in shades so tame
She's by a creek with trickling sounds
And children playing all around
She's perfect in her style and form
While brances dance in air so warm

Or maybe like a summer breeze
Blowing softly through the trees
Whisps that shield me from the cold
Filling me with warmth so bold
She whistles gently in my ears
The floral smell of nature nears
She seems to be from heaven sent
While eagles ride her soft current
